Antique steam tractors put on an incredible show of fire and sparks at night in Iowa.

Enjoy this truly incredible show of power, as four antique steam tractors set the sky ablaze with fire and sparks. All four of the vintage steam powered tractors burn wood with shovels full of sawdust occasionally thrown into the firebox for the fountain of sparks. The tractors use a long belt attached to a paddle wheel-type device to create a higher load when they are running. This event is part of the Old Threshers reunion in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. Great to see these machines and those with the knowledge to run them still around and viable. They're probably going to need them again in the not too distant future when the only flag you see flying around there would be Iowa's.
