  • First project to cover in this round of Patreon requests comes from a British trip-hop/indie pop band who opened for Depeche Mode recently. I wasn't impressed by their debut, but this sophomore album was a major improvement upon it by all counts.

Wow I did not expect you’d cover this! Found this album sitting in the cheap section of the vinyl store I often go to, thought the album cover was interesting so I looked it up and absolutely loved it! One of the best discoveries I’ve made through my own means and further proof that great album covers do impact perception a lot!

It's great sometimes to hear about semi known artists or groups there's plenty of people that might want to check their music that's one of the good things about Electronic music

I am honestly an enourmous fan of your channel. I found you out from your review on the Jack Ü album (I also don’t like that album and it’s very disappointing especially from Skrillex and SNAILS, HOLLA OUT is a shit song lol, but JUNGLE BAE is also my favorite track on that album) I also wanted to say thank you so much for introducing me to so many great artists. Some of my favorite artists that you introduced me to are Jean Michel Jarre, 808 State, Mike Paradinas/Micro/Mųziq, BT, Patricia Taxxon (she has been a huge influence on me especially because I love noise music like she does and also because I really want to become a trans woman like her), Orbital, Prodigy, Black Dog, Alan Parsons, and Depeche Mode. I really love that latter 4, I think of them as like the electronic version of the big 4 of metal (Antherax, Metalica, Slayer, Megadeth) I love all 4 of them for very different ways. I probably love Depeche Mode the very most (they are probably my personal favorite artist that you have introduced me to) because (Gahn and Gore) both are some of my favorite singers ever. The Black Dog is 2nd because their album flow and ambience and atmosphere is amazing. Orbital are 3rd, I love their vocal guests and production, but tracks by them like THE GIRL WITH THE SUN IN HER HEAD and ONE PERFECT SUNRISE are honestly hard for me to listen to because they are insanely depressing and happy at the same time, I don’t know why, I still love them though. I also love the Prodigy because of their fun and intense beats and samples in their tracks. I would honestly love to collaborate you for an album review or some other type of video sometime in the future. I also find your opinions on music very interesting even though I strongly disagree with a good amount of them lol. You are one of my absolute favorite UA-camrs to watch and I love your content a lot.

I'm begging you to do a review of the Yoja EP by Ekcle. Haven't found anyone cover the duo or their discography in detail, and I think you'd have some great insights. I really enjoy your way of critiquing albums, whether I agree or not. Appreciate the thought you put into everything supporting your opinions.
