@@Formfacade Hello I am unable to Put the formula on Formfacade in total amount...... If i type the formula - amount("₹",true) Then it will show only - amount("₹",true) instead of 0.00
@@rishabhlodha8694 Hi Rishab, as you may have explored, the formula could be added in two places during customization: 1. Description option in the "Question" tab - it helps you show the value to the user, but not store the value in the sheets 2. Calculate option in the "Answer" tab. - it helps you both show the value to the user and also store the value in the sheets In your case, I guess you might have used the formula in a placeholder text or prefill. Hi, this is probably what I was looking for but I'm wondering, is there anyway to calculate the total from all the customers? For example, let's say 15 customers have ordered different quantities of tomatoes each one, is there anyway to add all the kilograms with this add-on so I don't have to review each order to know the total of tomatoes I need?
Hi Yzoru, Yes. You can do the totaling of all orders and across customers, in the Google Sheets where your orders are finally stored. All your Google Form responses are (can be) stored in Google Sheets. You can write formulas, pivot tables to analyze your data further. With Neartail add-on you also get an Analytics module which will help you do all these without you having to write any formulas. Thank you for making this incredibly informative video. It gave me several ideas for new possibilities. I work for A food pantry, managing a walk-up mobile pantry and a delivery program. Our food distribution procedure. Gives people a certain number of items they can select, Based on their household size. With this type of form that you've created, instead of prices, would it be possible to start the customer with A specific number of items from which they could choose, And as they select items, That number Decreases until zero, At which point inviting them to proceed to check out? With also variations for pounds of like produce, meat, rice, etc?
You can calculate the order quantity (number of items) or the order amount in your form and then add a number response validation to check if this meets your criteria. For example, you can add a equal to response validation to check if the order quantity or amount matches the predefined value. Instead of equal to, you can also choose to use the less than equal to validation.

@@avasxi Hi Avassi, there are two $ symbols that we used in this video. ✳️One to enclose the calulcation - ${......} Technically, it is a Javascript notation called Template Literals. Formfacade needs this syntax to know that you are using a calculation or a formula within. I will soon post a video on more interesting functionalities/logic checks you can add to your Form, using this notation. ✳️The other $, within the formula - as the currency symbol. The AMOUNT() and SUMMARY() formulas take 2 parameters 1. currency - You need to use the same currency symbol in defining the price for all your products. 2. a boolean value - true/false - use "true" if you need to make totals/summary across sections. For the currency symbol: In my video I used $ all over so, my formula had $. For example, if you use € for your products, your formula should be AMOUNT("€",true). It can be any currency, I give you some more examples here: - AMOUNT("₹",true) for Indian Rupees - AMOUNT("£",true) for GBP - AMOUNT("Bs", true) for Bolivian currency Yes! I know what you are thinking now ☺️ It can be any little text or symbol - one of our customers have brilliantly used it not only to calculate the total amount but also to calculate the weight of the books selected, so that he can calculate the postage charges later. 👍 Please write to us on support [at] formfacade [dot] com if you need more help.

@@Formfacade Hello
I am unable to Put the formula on Formfacade in total amount......
If i type the formula - amount("₹",true)
Then it will show only - amount("₹",true) instead of 0.00
@@rishabhlodha8694 Hi Rishab, as you may have explored, the formula could be added in two places during customization:
1. Description option in the "Question" tab - it helps you show the value to the user, but not store the value in the sheets
2. Calculate option in the "Answer" tab. - it helps you both show the value to the user and also store the value in the sheets
In your case, I guess you might have used the formula in a placeholder text or prefill. Please check and add it in one of the above options. Ideal would be to add it in the Calculate option in the "Answer" tab. Please write to us at support@formfacade.com for any help.

Hi, what question type is "Order Summary"? There's nothing that appears on your video and you also didn't show HOW you created that question. You just scrolled down and started typing Order Summary. I ended up choosing short or long answer text, and in formfacade, I typed the formula like you said, and it didn't work, it just showed the formula in the description.
i really love this product.
Glad to know, Jose! Thank you :)

Question description field does not exist in my case? Why?
Is there a way to set the amount available for each item??
Hi Danielle, Could you please explain it a bit more. Or please write to us at neartail@guesswork.co
Please write to us at support@neartail.com to further discuss and see how we can help you with your need. See you there!
Thank you for making this incredibly informative video. It gave me several ideas for new possibilities. I work for A food pantry, managing a walk-up mobile pantry and a delivery program. Our food distribution procedure.
Gives people a certain number of items they can select, Based on their household size. With this type of form that you've created, instead of prices, would it be possible to start the customer with A specific number of items from which they could choose, And as they select items, That number
Decreases until zero, At which point inviting them to proceed to check out? With also variations for pounds of like produce, meat, rice, etc?
You can calculate the order quantity (number of items) or the order amount in your form and then add a number response validation to check if this meets your criteria. For example, you can add a equal to response validation to check if the order quantity or amount matches the predefined value. Instead of equal to, you can also choose to use the less than equal to validation.

Formfacade for Google Forms does it have to be a $ sign?
@@avasxi Hi Avassi, there are two $ symbols that we used in this video.
✳️One to enclose the calulcation - ${......}
Technically, it is a Javascript notation called Template Literals. Formfacade needs this syntax to know that you are using a calculation or a formula within.
I will soon post a video on more interesting functionalities/logic checks you can add to your Form, using this notation.
✳️The other $, within the formula - as the currency symbol. The AMOUNT() and SUMMARY() formulas take 2 parameters
1. currency - You need to use the same currency symbol in defining the price for all your products.
2. a boolean value - true/false - use "true" if you need to make totals/summary across sections.
For the currency symbol:
In my video I used $ all over so, my formula had $. For example, if you use € for your products, your formula should be AMOUNT("€",true). It can be any currency, I give you some more examples here:
- AMOUNT("₹",true) for Indian Rupees
- AMOUNT("£",true) for GBP
- AMOUNT("Bs", true) for Bolivian currency
Yes! I know what you are thinking now ☺️
It can be any little text or symbol - one of our customers have brilliantly used it not only to calculate the total amount but also to calculate the weight of the books selected, so that he can calculate the postage charges later. 👍
Please write to us on support [at] formfacade [dot] com if you need more help.
