A true hunter such as myself loves and respects nature. If I find an animal that is injured to the point that's there's no rehabilitation, I will put it out of its misery. Me laying it to sleep is much more humane that letting it suffer in pain.
savage gaming the hell are you talking about? haha I didn't come at you sideways. You came at me sideways. It's not my problem your mama raised a bitch.
Poor thing, just look at the way she looks back at the man with those eyes like "Am I going to be okay? Can we make it better?" Thank you for trying to help her. ;_;
Wish he just shot it. It had no chance. Didn't deserve to be dragged around. If I had a 1 percent chance of living where if I didn't live I would be tortured, or I could die there, I would take death.
I've come across a few injured deer and I've put them out of their misery. Tho it's not necessarily legal to discharge a firearm on a road, I figured I could salvage what venison I could then I donated the rest to a wildlife center that feeds it to their wolves, eagles, owls, coyote, etc.
KillerBunny help save a deer with 2 or more broken legs, broken ribs and internal bleeding? And please tell me who was going to fork over the money to pay the vet bills. I did something way more humane than nature and the entire deer was put to good use. If you'd like to give me your phone # or the number to someone willing to pay for the animal to be fixed medically then I'll be more than glad to call you the next time I across a deer hit by a car.
+KillerBunny Often deer, and many other animals when injured badly enough, are simply put down instead of being rehabilitated. You will get no help from many authorities, unless the animal is critical/threatened/endangered, aside from having them come out to euthanize it. Your best bet is either to put it down humanely or find a private party or rehabber who is qualified and can handle the expense.
Lets not forget that while some people are flaming about hunting, there are facilities all around the world that brutally slaughter all sorts of animals with zero regard for their dignity. I consider it more humane to shoot an animal in the wild than to slice its throat open and let it bleed to death after its been locked in a bare minimum-sized cage for 4 weeks. That's where your grocery store meat comes from.
dandagod official not all the time theres a video of dropping a cow from a forklift and it broke his legs and one of stabbing pigs in the artery and letting him squirm around and one with sheeps that the just threw around
The deer had that face like "can you fix me doc?.... " Then he realized "you cant fix me doc...." Then proceeds to look down in a depression... How sad
Thank you for being kind to this animal. You tried your best to make it feel loved and cared for. You helped it so much, and you made sure that she didn't have to suffer anymore. You're a very good person. I know that many other people would just leave her there and not care or do anything. Nice job, and I would do the same thing that you did.
I appreciate your trying to do what was best in that scenario... I HATE to see anything killed... but I can also understand that sometimes there is just nothing you can do... I am glad it didn't have to suffer any longer than it already had... thank you for being kind hearted enough to at least TRY to do SOMETHING for the poor thing instead of leaving it to freeze to death!! most people who comment wouldn't even be bothered to see if it was hurt.. they would just pass it by and say "it's probably fine".. you were at least kind. enough to try and help! thank you for that because we dont have many people like that anymore... I don't care if people call themselves hunters... tree huggers... gun lovers... or what have you.. in the end.. we should all have the kind of heart you have!
Thank you for trying to help this poor animal. Better to be dispatched quickly than to lie injured and cold on ice, just waiting in pain for the inevitable, being eaten alive. You showed compassion.🐺❤️👍
Nicholas gibbs Not really. It wouldn't be an instant death. Delaney is right. Most predators go for the neck to crush the wind pipe. If they destroy that you're done for. You would slowly suffocate and then die. While also being bitten in other parts of your body by them.
You never said anything about the spinal cord. You said "The wolves, coyotes or cats would bite her BY THE NECK" So I assumed you were talking about the neck. A bite to the spinal cord still wouldn't instantly kill. It would still slowly die.
BuffDedede - I am Vegan 4 Life but this is my other channel. So, right back at you. I bet your that person who goes out of their way to hit that animal on the road, right?
Hunters have hearts too you know...I agree, he did the right thing. It's easy for hunters to harvest a buck just standing, but who wants to put down a helpless animal?
hunters are pussies they kill animals for sport its sick and not funny at all. if hunters want to kill something than i know the best thing that that they can hunt and kill. them selves
jason king hunters actually go out into the wild, when we see an animal struggling we either help it or if its severely injured we put them out of their misery instead of letting the animal sit their till a predator comes along and eats it alive

I had some lady hit a kangaroo on my way home, she didnt know what to do, its legs were shattered to bits and it just flopped around for a bit, so I put it out of its misery with big piece of wood, quick shot to the skull. Only way to go

Did she make it up finally. Nice to know there's good people out there I'm a hunter but only cause I like feeding my family I would've done the same thing.
Unfortunately not, the description says her chest bone was broken and jutting out through her skin. Sounds like she had a merciful end when a park ranger finally responded and removed her. Good to hear there are always good hunters out there, btw.
She seems that she became so hopeless, that once the human started petting her, she decided to give the human the chance to help her, because she knows herself that she has no other choice. It's amazing. Damn, chest bone shattered? Wow. So painful. She would've died a slow painful death one way or another, from starvation or being eaten, etc. So it was right to put her down and save her further agony, imo. Hopefully there is a heaven, (I of course wouldn't know of there is or isn't) and so I hope she's prancing around up there instead. Look at her cute deerface and her big eyes. Deer are such beautiful creatures.
Big Ol Internet Troll so you're telling me an animal can't feel emotions? Why don't you test that theory by trying to harm a wild animal or just any animal in general and then we'll see what happens!
Big Ol Internet Troll Dogs cry when they’re sad, growl when they’re angry. Elephants even mour for their dead. Animals have emotions, it’s a proven fact
Big Ol Internet Troll Most animals are incapable of producing tears and/or do not express sadness in that way. That is an unfair challenge. Animals do not feel all human emotions, but some (like dogs, cats, cows, elephants, etc) have been shown to be able to establish bonds and relationships and would be sad if someone they formed a connection with died.
LocJope I've seen calves lay down during winter and never get back up cause the cold pretty much kills there legs so it's either kill it or let it freeze. I've ended a many cow with my 45-70
I'm a hunter and one time a Deer was stuck under a car mangled to far to beyond help. the lady called the cops but he couldn't discharge his firearm under the car and no one wanted to roll the car back over it. I crawled under as far as I could and dispatched it with a knife as quick as I could. I love animals and respect them but sometimes these things have to be done. I felt a bad more because it was dying slow and painfully......
I don't see anything wrong with what was done the animal was clearly suffering and would have died a slow horrible death . I'm glad they ended the babies suffering and most likely processed the meat and didn't let it go to waste.
im playing wonderful situations in my mind where a injured human gets put out of their misery by mountain lions and a nearby rodent observing and commenting the same thing since it gets the remains
Mom's Spaghetti For all we know it could've shot up a bank robbed an old lady, blew up a supermarket then fell down and is trying to act innocent. The hunter killed it before the deer was planning to stab him with its bone knife...
Well my grandpa saw a 6 point buck with a red ribbon around its neck, I told my grandpa if I ever saw something like that hunting, I'd shoot it anyways.
+Brandon Hickory Lame. Although I suppose if someone really did raise up the deer among people, they should keep it captive at that point or at least during hunting season. Some people wait a long time for a big buck, and are so hungry for it they don't care if someone loves it or sees it as a pet. Sad but true.
Deer are super hard to rehabilitate. They're so nervous they often injure themselves again trying to flee people. The places that do accept deer have tons of space to do it.
Daniel Soliman ...Dispatching it would have been more humane than letting it freeze to death. Oh, and not wasting the animal...nothing cruel about that.
I can tell a lot of people aren't reading the description. The man in the video didn't kill the deer, he said after 4 calls to the authorities, a ranger finally came out to take care of it since it was in view of the public. Also, depending on the area and time of year, discharging a firearm isn't always particularly legal...
I think it’s lovely what you did. I couldn’t have left her. Once she realised you wasn’t going to hurt her she was glad of company. Liked you once you petted her.
I shot a nine point with my bow and didn't find it for two days. Coyotes had stripped the carcass but left me the head which I took home for my trophy. The next year I called in and killed a coyote in the same area to get even.
what a horrible thing to have to deal with. I'm glad you made sure that she was humanely dispatched, rather than leaving her defenseless against predators. You did the right thing, thank you so much.
👏👏👏🥇🎖️🏅🤗 "God Bless You" Brother My Respects To You For Respecting God's Creation, Shame One Those Rangers Who Have A Job And They Don't Respect God's Creation Shame On Them😡.
Two thumbs up you have a big heart. The fact that you even went up to it to try and help says alot about you. And yes calling the rangers was the best thing to do and there was nothing eles that they could do to help to poor thing . leaving out for the predators was not an option.
You did the right thing by calling the Rangers who knows how long that poor deer would've laid there and suffered before a predator came along and started tearing at it while it was alive and unable to get away.
Also, you act like you don't have the heart to put it out of its misery but you have the time to film it. You are a beta. be a man for once in your life and put it out of it's misery.
U should be thanked by a lot of people. U made the best choice on this situation. Im sad the deer had to go, but im a hunter too and i know how it goes on for her. Hats off to you!
As weird as it sounds that deer most likely caused it's injury just by slipping on the ice like that. They don't have the muscle-structure to keep their legs together when they slide apart like that. Especially the younger ones like this one. Poor thing. I mean, I hunt and I practice a lot to make clean, ethical kills, but I hate to see them get injured and go like this. Hat's off to you for trying.
I had a recent experience in the city where I live. I witnessed a jack rabbit get run over, just the rear end of it. Poor thing, it was crawling off the roadway using just it's front paws because the rear end was destroyed. I called the city, humane society, vet clinics rescue societies and by-law services - not one of them stepped up to help - they told me if I was comfortable enough I could go put it a box and bring it in and they'd put it down, other than that - nothing they would or could do?! Thanks a crap load city services, glad you have a heart! I took my .22 air gun and went back, pulled real close to the curb (rabbit dragged itself just to the edge of the curb) opened both passenger doors of my truck so folk behind couldn't see what I was doing (was afraid they'd see the gun and call the cops on me) and put the poor thing out of its' misery! I think it knew what I was up to as it didn't even move. I know it was "only" a jack rabbit but it really shook me that no one stepped up to help this poor creature!
Nature is cruel. Good to hear she was humanely put out of her misery instead of being left for coyotes. I'm a hunter as well, and you know just as well as I that none of us like to see animals suffer.
I'd sit and just pet him for about 10-15,, let him get real calm, then do what's right. It's sad but at least the deer would be feeling love and care in it's last moment
I'm against hunting for sport, but you did the right thing to get someone to help put her out of her misery. There was nothing anything could do, her chest and front legs are badly damaged. Ending her pain was the only way to humanly take care of her.
Ouch... Poor thing. That is a nasty injury and I doubt it would have been able to survive it. Taking it out was the most merciful thing that could be done sadly.
Makes me sad to see that poor little thing hurt. Last summer, almost every day on my way to work, I use to walk past this deer and after awhile, this little thing use to greet me. I never tried to pet it but it was the coolest thing.
For all of the people that say someone should've kept it and helped it; in most states its illegal to keep wildlife. There's a story of a man who kept a motherless fawn on his property (he ran a kennel for dogs). Someone snitched on him and the authorities showed up in full battle rattle to "remove" the animal. They shot it on sight,
if an injured animal could be nursed back to health & re-released, fair enough to do so. I would & the law be fucked. if it can't (via injury or disease), then a last mercy is the only thing a TRUE natural right-thinking Human would do.
Poor thing. I ran into the same thing with a young doe hit by a car, laying in the middle of the road with her back broken. Her mother was standing just 20 feet away with another fawn, overcoming her fear, waiting. I covered her with a tarp as that seems to calm them, then took her to the side of the road. Animal control said it would be hours before they got there, so I had no choice but to shoot her. I took the tarp off her and her mother just stood near her for a while then slowly moved off with her other baby. Just one second too long crossing the road, and someone hit this one then just drove off leaving her terribly hurt. You certainly did the right thing here, and screw all the haters eating their burgers and condemning you for making the hard choice to do the humane thing.
Poor deer, at least she's in a better place now. There was nothing you could have done. You did the right thing, she would have suffered on that Ice alone and scared but at least you were there for her.
A true hunter such as myself loves and respects nature. If I find an animal that is injured to the point that's there's no rehabilitation, I will put it out of its misery. Me laying it to sleep is much more humane that letting it suffer in pain.

Master Bates that wolf could have had a nice meal
IT SHOULD BE HOW THE FUCK IS THAT THE RIGHT THING? If its going to get eaten it could have saved the life of some endangered wolves.

Koolkid Aid2 My family barbecued yesterday. Those were some good hamburgers, hotdogs, and sausages!
You do realize eating animals is part of nature right? Carnivores will always eat meat
Just because you don't eat meat doesn't give you the right to tell others not to eat meat.
im playing wonderful situations in my mind where a injured human gets put out of their misery by mountain lions and a nearby rodent observing and commenting the same thing since it gets the remains
omg it was so scared and then he started patting it and it was just like oh I'll be okay now. you could see the relief in its eyes. yes, I'm crying.
Chill, damn.
This is sad. I feel bad for little dude. Bless you for take care of it
gangstabreaka Christ Little dude? LITTLE DUDE?! Go back to sex ed class or get out in the world some time. That is a doe, a FEMALE deer.
thank for stopping to check on this deer, and thank you for ending it's pain.
That deer's legs were broken it was gonna get eaten alive they needed to put the poor thing down
Mom's Spaghetti Description said it's chest bone was shattered and he did put it down.
Inspiring Reptile ;( hate that when a innocent life gets taken
Mom's Spaghetti For all we know it could've shot up a bank robbed an old lady, blew up a supermarket then fell down and is trying to act innocent. The hunter killed it before the deer was planning to stab him with its bone knife...
Coyotes gotta eat too. Should've let nature run its course.
that is rud that deer did nothing wrong and every other animal is hibernating
Cassie Hastings do you get sad when you step on a bug??
Cassie Hastings its life thats just how things are circle of life and everything has to fight to survive
Cassie Hastings How is it rude to not impede on the circle of life? Coyotes don't hibernate by the way.
We are apart of nature as well you know
it was the right thing to put it down I am a hunter and I would of shot it to
rodeo girl Hunter are more likely to cause war and destruction to nature.
Isham2 W how did you come up with that?
So sads thank you for doing your best to try and save her before it was clear that there wasn't a way to. I'm sorry you had to go through that.
That was awefully kind, putting the poor to rest. It was probably in extreme pain.
Messed up someone couldn't come pick the deer up n take it to a wildlife place or somthin..poor deer.
read the description
silly tomato can't get up.
what an odd video to upload...
Yes (but it's okay, though)
what?
Her poor eyes, at least she didn't have to suffer that much longer.
You probably helped make her last moments a little more tender btw, good man.
Thank you for helping her that was really nice of you. Although she didn't make it you still tried to help her. Super awesome:)
Bamby on ice
ua-cam.com/video/s3womp1b1I4/v-deo.html yup I agree
I would have taken it home and fixed its leg and made it into my pet... be really kewl to have a pet deer.
conexn It didn't break it's leg, it shattered its ribs or something, read the description.
plate in the chest was crack she probable slipped on the ice and tore it in half, 3000 dollar surgery
The places that do accept deer have tons of space to do it.
.22 to back of brain and deer it's what's for dinner!
That was so graphic. Those drops of blood nearly had me pass out. Thanks for the warning title.
Thank you for trying to help that baby. You are a blessed man.
I would have killed and ate it
Jk
Daniel Soliman you cruel selfish idiot how could you
Ashleah Cooper I was joking m8
Daniel Soliman But no ones laughing ...
Daniel Soliman ...Dispatching it would have been more humane than letting it freeze to death.
Oh, and not wasting the animal...nothing cruel about that.
Mr Gwarn Stylee yeh no I hunt with my dad all the time and sometimes it doesn't kill them so I just end the misery with a knife
Wait you're a hunter but couldn't put it out of its misery...but you will shoot perfectly healthy deer trying to survive? logic level = christian
Mike B lolol yup
maybe its because she was helpless and he felt for her
I can tell a lot of people aren't reading the description. The man in the video didn't kill the deer, he said after 4 calls to the authorities, a ranger finally came out to take care of it since it was in view of the public. Also, depending on the area and time of year, discharging a firearm isn't always particularly legal...
EpicGameGalHD you should atleast put the meat to good use by selling it
Haseeb Syed The dude either lives off the meat of game, or he sells it to keep a living. Also, nice fedora you got there. Did you buy it on Reddit?
How about, tranquilizing it, so it will be asleep, then taking it in for some Bone Fusion Surgery. 👍
PhenomProductions23 expensive
How about don't waste conservation money on a single struck deer.
you have got to be kidding. why not spend billions and make sure no wild animal ever dies of an injury again
Haha yeah and spend $10,000 on it ahahaha sound fun. Even though deer die any wayAHHAHAHAHAHAH
10,000? No way, this is surgery, not fucking Gold Plating Teeth.
thanks for checking in on it. It's sad, but you did the right thing.
broke my heart. thank you so much for trying to help and not leaving her.
Thanks for the graphic warning. Nearly passed out from all the traumatic images. My life is ruined. Need phsycotherapy for years to come. Darn.
I think it’s lovely what you did. I couldn’t have left her. Once she realised you wasn’t going to hurt her she was glad of company. Liked you once you petted her.
👍👍 You were very kind to Try and help the little fella.... Sometimes it's just not enough , but two thumbs up for your effort.
omg, look at its face,it was such a little cutie. I'm glad you tried helping it,too bad she couldn't be saved.
THANKS FOR TRYING TO SAVE HER. WE NEED MORE PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD LIKE YOU
👏👏👏🥇🎖️🏅🤗 "God Bless You" Brother My Respects To You For Respecting God's Creation, Shame One Those Rangers Who Have A Job And They Don't Respect God's Creation Shame On Them😡.
Thank you. .... how sad. It is beautiful. I don't think I could have handled that. It makes me cry just seeing her.
That's so sad but I thank people like you for your Humanity
Thank you so much to take the time to film the animals suffering. Your an amazing person.
Also, thank you for asking the animal if it was okay. I think it really appreciated your concern.
Also, you act like you don't have the heart to put it out of its misery but you have the time to film it. You are a beta. be a man for once in your life and put it out of it's misery.
I think this video is proof that nobody loves animals more than true hunters.
Thank you for trying to help her.
U should be thanked by a lot of people. U made the best choice on this situation. Im sad the deer had to go, but im a hunter too and i know how it goes on for her. Hats off to you!
"FOR ALL THAT CAN,T READ," The irony in the description is strong
THANK U SO MUCH FOR THIS I AM CRYING INTERNALLY
It's lovely that even though you're a hunter you care for whether the animal suffers. Not everyone would care, hunter or not.
R.I.P. As a hunter myself, I have a great respect for nature, especially the animals that I hunt. I would have done the same thing that you did.
thank you for being kind to the animal and not letting it be torn apart by wild dogs.
