I believe the “tiny little bead” is a crimp bead. I’m so happy to see this. So many crafting Dollar Tree videos show you what’s there, but never talk about what they’re for. Thank you
If you get the rotary cutter. Get 2. One for fabric only and one for paper. My mom taught me this. The paper dulls the blade so it is harder to cut the fabric over time. My kids know not to use my fabric shears for anything except fabric. If you don’t work with fabric for sewing then just get one cutter. 😊
If you like the embossing tool, I found a pack of 3 in the nail section advertised as for nail art. So you get 6 different sized tips for the same 1.25 🙌
The larger embossing tools also work very well with a papercraft scoring board! They also work well to smooth cut cardstock edges (another mixed media tip), by pressing along the paper edges with the tool. It gives more of the manual die-cutting effect for electronic cutter projects.
@@voguevaniaYou know, just yesterday she said she uses the Dollar Tree rather than the one that came with her cutter/scorer. I am fortunate that I can go in almost any direction from my house & find a Dollar Tree. They vary in size. My nephew fell in love with some plates they had & we went to about 3 or 4 until he was able to find enough. Maybe there are more a little further away from you.
Same here. Every Dollar Tree near me has staffing issues I think. There is product in the store, but it's all still packed in the shipping boxes which are strewn in each aisle. What product is displayed is not in order and picked through. Kinda sad.
For paper crafters those cutting mats are amazing in die cutters. Cut them down and use them on the blade side of your die. It is so much cheaper to replace this mat than to replace your plastic mats. You can find make up blenders that look like spoons to ink in your stencils.
Oh, I was going to suggest this too. I've been doing it for a few years now and it works so well and is much cheaper than having to pay for the plastic cutting mats.

You need to put the brushes in with the brush first so that is right under the hanging loop. That way when you upright it the brushes are resting on their ends, not on their bristles.

I often take supplies to my grandchildren’s houses for projects, that will come in handy!
If you've already made something with those jump rings and they're not staying secure, you can add just a bead of crazy glue to the join. But you are right, cheap jump rings are not good for making jewelry

I'm in FL near Cocoa Beach & have 2 awesome, clean, & well stocked Dollar Tree stores within a 3-4 mile radius from my house 😊 If the store has a good manager & can keep staff, the DT stores are great! One of the mgrs told me last wk if there were things that I regularly buy, to stock up before the end of the year. The $1.25 items are going up corporate wide by the 1st of 2025 to $1.50. They already have the $3 & $5 items & she didn't think anything except the original $1 items were increasing again‼️
Thanks for demo all of these products. I use all of them. I bought 2 of the paint brush holders. I also picked up 2 small plastic lazy susan on amazon. I set the holders on top and now they rotate. I have bought several of the rotary cutters and mine always fall apart and never cut through fabric. I do like the small pliers especially if you make jewelry. The pink wire cutters work great for cutting off the little extra pieces of resin from your molds. Have a great week
Good afternoon, Lianep! Wow, thank you for trying out these crafting tools! I'm actually going to try the resin. Was a bit intimidated to use it before, but since you demonstrated how relatively easy it was to use, I'm going to give it a try. Thank you for sharing! ❤
The small wire cutters and needle nose pliers are actually the same size I buy for jewelry making. Not as clunky in the hand when doing small finicky jobs. Good to know of a place I can get them for a reasonable price. Thank you.
The brush organizer is officially a staple in my house! (You can also make it swivel lazy-Susan-style by using small spherical beads and one of the small stovetop burner covers!
I think they deserve a 5stars myself I love them ❤! Just because you misinterpreted that a $ 1.25 item was supposed to rotate ( highly unlikely) it's a great item !!
I have been thinking of getting a rotary cutter.. but more like just to have for basic crafts.. nothing fancy.. I saw your video and tried the one from dollar tree.. I couldn’t have been happier. It’s just perfect. I used it on canvas and worked perfectly. Thank you for these videos on dollar tree tools!
The round holder not only hold brushes but most anything thin and long, I use mine to hold all those jewelry tools you showed and pencils and anything thin enough to fit! I really need to look closely at that craft section of the Dollar tree store, I have quite a few items you showed today but some I don't have that now I need, LoL got to check it out 😄❤
Thank you so much for this!! I will for sure be buying the rotary cutter, cutting mat and needlenose pliers. I would have NEVER bought them at Dollar Tree before so I appreciate that you tried them all out for me!
My DT stores always carried those pet nail clippers, until I wanted some! They haven't had them for over a year. I bought some elsewhere (for much more). They would be excellent for crafting, but they are also great for elder care, if the individual has very thick toenails. Thanks so much for for sharing your great idea! 💐I'll keep watching for them to return to my stores.
What a beautiful Dollar Tree! Mine in Weymouth, Massachusetts is always a disorderly disorganized mess with boxes in isles. It’s hard to find craft supplies because everything is always so jumbled and out of place.😊
Same here. But I went to a different dollar tree a few days ago and it was amazing. Clean, tidy, organized, and more spacious than mine. I will definitely go back there again.
Thanks for sharing! I was surprised at the quality of the tools! A hack to make the stand swivel is to put marbles in a small cake pan. Then set a smaller pan on of the marbles.
Those tape rolls that are next to the tools are the best. It's double sided raised tape and it comes in 3 different sizes. I absolutely love it. I use it for card making and around my house.
Great review of DT tools. I have quite a few you showed and I'm especially happy with the self healing cutting mat. I hope you do more reviews like this. ❤❤❤
I used the resin last year when I made ornaments for Christmas gifts. I carved everyones initial into a wood slice then used the resin and color to fil in just the initial. Then i did a clear with just some glitter over the top to seal it in. Everyone loved their ornaments and they have held up well. I also have te paint brush holder for all of my tools, i put scissors and small rasps and pliers in there as well. I feel that Dollar tree took the extra quarter and did really well with what they have started selling.
I bought the plyers and the cutter…sometime ago.. Placed them in a ziplock…. When I went to use them … they were rusted!!! Took quite a time to get the rust nearly removed… I would give them a 3.. b/c of the rust factor… Happy crafting yall !!!
Dollartree is the first place I go to find inexpensive craft items ! I spend at least $10 everytime ! We have Three now in my city in Ontario (not Toronto) and they are all well maintained. Love, love, love Dollartree !
@itspixel2841 DT in Canada used to be $1.25 but prices went up to $1.50. Last week when I was in our nearest store there were signs up saying everything is now $1.75 !
Oooh! That's a great idea! Although, you may want to permanently glue the pieces together so they don't come apart with the weight of the brushes! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
I appreciate you going over these tools for crafting. I like to craft but I don’t know how to use some of these tools so I appreciate you going over them. I am gonna buy some of these you mentioned. I thank you. 🙏 😊
Get 2! One for Paper and One for Fabric! Using it on paper dulls the blade quickly (does this for all brands) so then it won’t cut fabric as good. Using 2 different ones keeps them sharp!
I have most of these tools and use them a lot what I need and don’t have is the paint brush holder. I would have to get it on line I guess as I’ve never seen one in any store I’ve been in. Then again I don’t have any stores near me really so it’s hard to see anything. Thanks for taking us shopping and it would be great to see more videos like this Dee, really enjoyable for me anyway. Thanks.
Lucky you to have such a nice, clean and organized Dollar Tree! There are 3 near me and they all are a mess with unpacked cartons stacked in the aisles and shelves either bare or all jumbled up.
Thanks for for this video! A few items have been available at my main DT for a couple of years, and I use them: the brush stand, the cutting mat 💙💙, the rotary blade. I haven't bought the brush carriers yet, but you have convinced me! I can use them to store single-tip markers upside down, hanging from hooks, so they're not taking up shelf space! Storing them in those carriers may also keep them from drying out quickly. I have enjoyed some of the jewelry tools and supplies this summer, and I loved your demo! You have encouraged me to use the resin for small gift projects. Thanks for sharing! 💐💐💐
Oh, yeay! I'm so happy you liked the video! It's the first time I post this type of video, and getting feedback like yours helps me! Thank you so much ❤️
The little tiny thing is a ‘Crimp’ bead. It’s used to hold together jewelry wire, and items that can’t be tied or strung together with split rings. It’s best used with a crimp tool, but pliers work in a pinch.
Thanks For Sharing I have always wondered if the pliers really work they look so small. Hope you continue showing us if dollar tree stuff really works. Thanks
I'm floored that DT now carries resin. I saw it the last time I was there but I thought for certain it couldn't possibly cure properly at that price point. Glad to see I was wrong! Not to mention they have colors? For someone just seeing if they like it, what a great steal. First time I'm visiting your channel but wanted to check if you were using a mask with the resin? In regards to the paintbrush/pen holder, you can buy mini lazy susan's and attach that to the bottom. 💚
Okay, well for anyone new to resin, you should wear PPE when working with any type of resin regardless of whether you can smell fumes. It’s still toxic.
Yes this was very helpful, it would be nice if i can find half of these goodies at the dollar tree, but i already know it's a hit or miss. Lol tfs. Big Thumbs Up 👍🥰🙏
Pick up a dollar tree turntable, and glue it to the bottom of your round brush holder. It will still be a great cost-effective holder. It would also be great in the kitchen holding your larger utensils and spatulas etc
I also wondered about the quality of the crafting tools. Thanks for doing the work for me. RE: the twisting thingy you put all your paint brushes in: DON'T hang it up or stand it up or you will ruin all the brushes - bending them out of shape.
Honestly, the paintbrush holder is actually very popular with crocheters. It's the perfect size for crochet hooks! Also, I have some crochet hooks from there (no longer carried) that have held up for about 5 years, which is longer than some of mine from Walmart
I’d like to try the risen. So cool you don’t need a UV Lite to cure it. They have really nice molds and embellishments to add to the risen. I bought them; now all I need is the 3 part Risen. Thank you for teaching us. Can’t wait to try it. Didn’t know those specifically came in 2 to 3 parts. Saving this video. ❤ Yay!🎉
I literally JUST saw the rotary cutters at the Dollar Tree and wondered if they would work well and then this video pops up! Funny how that works. Haha. Thanks for the review!
Wow I love that round storage thing. I will absolutely be buying one for my make up brushes but also for paint ones too. It would also be good to hold some colored pencils for on the go.

Thank you so much for this!! I will for sure be buying the rotary cutter, cutting mat and needlenose pliers. I would have NEVER bought them at Dollar Tree before so I appreciate that you tried them all out for me!
Oh, yeay! I hope you like them as much as I did! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
I purchased the furnishings tool and have not used it yet..so I am happy to see you like it so much.
Awww. Yeay! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
Ib tried the cutter for small sewing projects. I have the wire cutters to fit tiny projects of jewery fixing earrings etc.
@gypsygirl731 yes, that'd be perfect for small projects!
Thanks for sharing this information. I heard another UA-camr say she uses the dog clippers from Dollar Tree to cut the small wood dowels.
Yes! That's a great idea
I'll have to check that out. Thanks for the idea.
@@voguevania oh no! I have a friend who uses those!
@@lindabradford9591 thank you so much for watching ❤️
I have bought just about all of them but hadn’t gotten up the nerve to try them😁. This has inspired me to do so. Thanks!
Yeay! Go for it! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
What a beautiful Dollar Tree! Mine in Weymouth, Massachusetts is always a disorderly disorganized mess with boxes in isles. It’s hard to find craft supplies because everything is always so jumbled and out of place.😊
Oh, man. I hear this way too often. I'm so sorry
Same here. But I went to a different dollar tree a few days ago and it was amazing. Clean, tidy, organized, and more spacious than mine. I will definitely go back there again.
Very interesting. No doubt the quality has def improved over the years ❤
I'm sure! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
7:16 I haven’t seen that retractable case but there would be perfect for my crochet hooks.
Yes! Perfect
The cases just recently within 2 weeks showed up at my DT.
Thanks for sharing! I was surprised at the quality of the tools! A hack to make the stand swivel is to put marbles in a small cake pan. Then set a smaller pan on of the marbles.
Yes! That's a great idea! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
Those tape rolls that are next to the tools are the best. It's double sided raised tape and it comes in 3 different sizes. I absolutely love it. I use it for card making and around my house.
Ooooh! Good insight! Thank you so much ❤️
I have the paintbrush stand, and I love it because I use it often when I'm oil painting and it's easy to take apart and store away
That's great! It's a great find at a great price!
Great review of DT tools. I have quite a few you showed and I'm especially happy with the self healing cutting mat. I hope you do more reviews like this. ❤❤❤
Hi! Yeay! Thank you so much ❤️. And yes, another will be coming soon!
Oh, wow. That's sounds beautiful! I think so too!
I bought the plyers and the cutter…sometime ago.. Placed them in a ziplock…. When I went to use them … they were rusted!!! Took quite a time to get the rust nearly removed… I would give them a 3.. b/c of the rust factor… Happy crafting yall !!!
That's so weird! I wonder why?
Tfs I want to try the resin looks easier than I thought ❤
Yes! It was so easy! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
Make sure you get protective gear. Gloves & should ware mask with that kind of resin.
@corrier5954 that's great advice!
Dollartree is the first place I go to find inexpensive craft items ! I spend at least $10 everytime ! We have Three now in my city in Ontario (not Toronto) and they are all well maintained. Love, love, love Dollartree !
Oh yeay! How fun! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
Are the things at canadian dollar tree $1.25CAD or do they cost more than that? Signed, a curious american 😅
@@itspixel2841 Almost everything is $1.50. There are some new storage items that are $3 and food items are $2 and up.
@itspixel2841 DT in Canada used to be $1.25 but prices went up to $1.50. Last week when I was in our nearest store there were signs up saying everything is now $1.75 !
Thank you for sharing these items. I am going to get that brush storage unit for my markers! Perfect reviews, Lianep!❤
Yeay! Yes! I was pleasantly surprised! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
You can also add a phone holder (the button kind) to the center of the brush holder to make it easier to carry.
Oooh! That's a great idea! Although, you may want to permanently glue the pieces together so they don't come apart with the weight of the brushes! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
I did that, too, with the faux pop socket, and it has held up for two years! The ring type will probably work very well, too.
Thank you for sharing these. The only one I have tried is the cutting mat. Really glad you did this video. Thank you
Yeay! I'm so glad you liked it! There's a new one coming soon!
They are all great products. I have the cutting mat and the rotary cutter. I really like them.😀👍👍👍
Yes! Me too! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
The round craft tool holder is my wish list item. I have loads of crochet hooks that would benefit from it.
That's a great idea!
Thank you for sharing those. I will be picking some of them up. Have a blessed day.
Thank you so much ❤️
I appreciate you going over these tools for crafting. I like to craft but I don’t know how to use some of these tools so I appreciate you going over them. I am gonna buy some of these you mentioned. I thank you. 🙏 😊
Awww. Thank you so much ❤️. I'm so glad you liked it
You can use the round brush case for carrying crochet hooks
Yes, great idea!
I’m going to try several. I have my list ready. Thanks 😊
Awesome! Yeay! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
Thanks for trying out the rotary cutter. I'm going to get one now.
Get 2! One for Paper and One for Fabric! Using it on paper dulls the blade quickly (does this for all brands) so then it won’t cut fabric as good. Using 2 different ones keeps them sharp!
Yeay! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
Same here
I like dis lady. She chill.
Thank you so much ❤️
I have most of these tools and use them a lot what I need and don’t have is the paint brush holder. I would have to get it on line I guess as I’ve never seen one in any store I’ve been in. Then again I don’t have any stores near me really so it’s hard to see anything. Thanks for taking us shopping and it would be great to see more videos like this Dee, really enjoyable for me anyway. Thanks.
Awww. Thank you so much ❤️. Truly appreciate your feedback!
I use a small turn table for the base of my brush holder, markers 💡I had not thought to put my markers in the holder. Thank you for the idea.
That's a great idea! Yes, love markers on there! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
Using cake pans or large lids and marbles make a turn table for the brush holder
That's a great idea! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
This was my thought!
Lucky you to have such a nice, clean and organized Dollar Tree! There are 3 near me and they all are a mess with unpacked cartons stacked in the aisles and shelves either bare or all jumbled up.
Ugh! No! I hear this all the time! I'm so sorry.
Thank you so much ❤️
Thank you for trying some of these items. I was curious if they were any good.
Awesome! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
This video was so helpful. Thank you and yes please do more of these videos.
Yes! Another one coming soon! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
The little tiny thing is a ‘Crimp’ bead.
It’s used to hold together jewelry wire, and items that can’t be tied or strung together with split rings.
It’s best used with a crimp tool, but pliers work in a pinch.
Ok! Good to know! Thank you so much ❤️
Thanks For Sharing I have always wondered if the pliers really work they look so small. Hope you continue showing us if dollar tree stuff really works. Thanks
I have small hands so I love that they’re on the small size 😊
Hi! Yes! I want to keep doing these types of videos! Thank you so much for watching and for your feedback!
Yes! Definitely a plus!
Yes! It's a great price! I didn't wear a mask, but also didn't smell any fumes at all. Thank you so much for watching ❤️
Okay, well for anyone new to resin, you should wear PPE when working with any type of resin regardless of whether you can smell fumes. It’s still toxic.
Yes this was very helpful, it would be nice if i can find half of these goodies at the dollar tree, but i already know it's a hit or miss. Lol tfs. Big Thumbs Up 👍🥰🙏
Awww. I'm so sorry. Thank you so much for watching ❤️
Pick up a dollar tree turntable, and glue it to the bottom of your round brush holder. It will still be a great cost-effective holder. It would also be great in the kitchen holding your larger utensils and spatulas etc
Thats a great idea! Thank you so much ❤️
I might get that last one for my fancy hair pins. And the twisty holder for my crochet hooks.
Yes! Great idea! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
New to your channel. Love the Dollar tree craft stuff. Thx for sharing.
Hi! Thank you so much ❤️. Welcome to our UA-cam family!
Thanks for this. I'm going to get the rotary cutter and the resin.
Awesome! Have fun creating!
I like the brush holder. It's also good to keep makeup brushes.
Thank you! I agree - it's so versatile ❤️
I've gotten the paint brush holder and also love it. I have made a swivel stand as well.
Thank you so much ❤️
I have the rotary cutter & it works pretty good.
Yes! I thought so, too! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
I also wondered about the quality of the crafting tools. Thanks for doing the work for me.
RE: the twisting thingy you put all your paint brushes in: DON'T hang it up or stand it up or you will ruin all the brushes - bending them out of shape.
You're so welcome! And yes! That's a great idea! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
I'm going to Dollar Tree today and will purchase the rotary cutter and some of the other products you reviewed. Thank you!
Awesome! Have fun creating ❤️
The green mat is very good for smaller crafts
Yes! Agree! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
Impressive! Very detailed information. Thank you.
Awww. Thank you so much ❤️
I have 2 of the brush holders, one for wet cleaned brushes and the other to store my brushes
Oooh! That's smart! I wonder if adding small holes on one end would be helpful for drainage!?!
Honestly, the paintbrush holder is actually very popular with crocheters. It's the perfect size for crochet hooks! Also, I have some crochet hooks from there (no longer carried) that have held up for about 5 years, which is longer than some of mine from Walmart
Oh, wow! That's awesome!
This wa a great video, good to know how the dollar tree product work, thank you for Sharing! Just Subscribed to your Channel...Liz 😊😍
Hi Liz! Thank you so much for the feedback! And welcome to our UA-cam family ❤️
❤ Yay!🎉
Awesome!!! Have fun creating ❤️
I literally JUST saw the rotary cutters at the Dollar Tree and wondered if they would work well and then this video pops up! Funny how that works. Haha. Thanks for the review!
Awww. Yes, so true! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
Wow I love that round storage thing. I will absolutely be buying one for my make up brushes but also for paint ones too. It would also be good to hold some colored pencils for on the go.
Yes! Such a great price for the price! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
OMG I love your videos everything looks so useful. I love the way you gave everything a positive review. Personally myself everything you used I would store crochet items like hooks. 🎉👍
Yes! I'm so glad you liked them! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
