Tice thinks he’s the new Nigel Farage.I hope his SO CALLED PARTY REFORM ‘ANTI IMMIGRATION’ UK sinks.Like Farage,he forgets the amount of IMMIGRANTS that fought for this country in Two World Wars.Answered the EMPIRES call and fought to preserve OUR FREEDOMS.These SAME IMMIGRANTS then were told by the so called MOTHER COUNTRY to come and do the jobs that a lot of people here wouldn’t do.While the Tories have turned immigration into a dirty word, shysters like Tice have jumped on the bandwagon and are scaremongering.People believe the garbage the likes of Tice come out with,I’ve met a few. They feel as the Tories have lost control,Labour will have an OPEN DOOR POLICY and anyone will come in.Tice and his ilk want ZERO immigration. His girlfriend,Isobel Oakshott accidentally said this a few months back on QUESTION TIME before backtracking and saying we need a reduced number of immigrants. While NO ONE wants an OPEN DOOR POLICY, Tice and his cronies aren’t the answer to dealing with Immigration.

Brexit’s been a total failure. This obsession from the likes of Tice that if he’d been in charge,it would have worked is just fantasy.Tice is a bitter former Tory, like Farage, who keep telling us that EUROPE is our enemy and the EU are to blame for everything along with immigration. And yet it was Ted Heath’s Conservative Party that put us in the EU(the Common Market as it was in 1973 in the first place!).And he was well rewarded for it too.

There are no EU Regulations, there are EU Directives which set out minimum standards which must be implemented. Each EU member state formulates its own national Regulations based on the framework directive. Those regulations are debated and voted on in each member state's parliament. This is what people like Tice misquote over and over because they know the public are uniformed they get away with it.

Jeremy Vine is awful. I hate just how smug he is. Yet he is often extremely clueless. He is also horribly biased.
He will happily let right leaning guests talk uninterrupted. But any left leaning guests barely get the chance to finish a single word without him interrupting.
One I can remember from his radio show was when he talked about sleep and had the leading expert on sleep on the show. The expert was very good, and at one point, Vine says something incorrect, so the expert corrects him gently. Once the interview was over, Vine immediately went back to that comment and said something like "well I know I'm right, the expert was clearly wrong".

@@mattyb7183 When George Alagiah died in July last year, Vine was waxing lyrical about his old friend and how it was a tragedy and how he'd be missed.
Just a few weeks before this, he'd been happy to read out an email from a member of the public, where they believed that the only way to stop people in boats was to "let them drown".
And Vine read that out without a single word of criticism.

A very important point the £350million for the NHS was promised additional funds. Now politicians are twisting it by quoting total current funding of the NHS. Additionally over time with inflation things will naturally go up. There was never £350 million available because of all the rebates and schemes that the EU sent funds back to the U.K.

The 75,000 came from consultants Oliver Wyman who said these jobs _"could be at stake",_ not that they would be lost. What is wrong with people? A person of the intelligence of Nigel Farage, and a person of the integrity of Boris Johnson, told us it was going to be great. Surely they cannot be wrong?

Do Brexit properly? What does that mean? Everyone had their version in their own mind and not one brexiteer actually had a clue as to what Brexit would look like. Frankly, they did not expect to win so they didn’t bother going that far but even after leave won, they didn’t work on the ideal Brexit before we triggered article 50.

@Piezochem I'm working class, I voted for Brexit and am proud of my country. If the City workers get rich it's more tax income to help everyone else. Would you prefer they leave the country and pay their taxes in another country! They have food banks in Germany too! The grass isn't always greener in the other field!

@@Frank-pm9pr but the tax isn’t trickling down. They’re talking about cutting services - more money at the top with the rich but there’s no money at the bottom. This is not a cost of living crisis, it’s a cost of greed crisis. It’s a perverse measure of success to believe the rich getting richer is a good thing for the country. Why would you celebrate such success when you are working class, you are not benefiting from rich people getting richer. Your gas is more expensive and yet British Gas made 10x profit - you see zero benefit from that! Yes Germany has food banks but they are a much larger country and they have far less than us.

The thing that really annoys me about these shows is how they allow basic maths/economic lies to go unchallenged. Tice said the budget was 120bn (he means 2016 when it was 124bn and when the bus lie happened) and he claimed it's 180bn now. It's not, it's 161bn. If we account for inflation, 124bn then is £162bn now. So it's gone down and that's not even accounting for the stuff the lady said like PPE lanes.

Just typed into Google what is the state of nursing across EU member states most report an EU shortage of nurses. So what difference would rejoining and having open borders if there isn't any spare nurses. Seems pointless.
