Thank you Mr. Beeler! Used set standard tonight in a local tourney. It works instantly. Can only imagine what will happen if it gets even better with time. So happy to have a reason to allow my eyes time to focus. Terrific...
Fantastic! Yes, it is very powerful! Glad it's helping your game. Thanks for watching. If I can ever help you with any personalized instruction let me know. An extended sey is extremely true. I formulate that in every shot regardless of the shots simplicity or complex nature. I find that it adds more consistency and presses my level of focus to the next level. Thank You Anthony!!!!

Anthony, thanks for the reply. I’ve subscribed because of your concise and clear methods and explanations. Excellent job and this old dog can use new tricks.
Your video and thorough explanation really made things click for me. I've heard others talk about a pause and set so to speak, but you have taken it a step further by explaining why it is necessary. I have started putting this into practice along with the edge of the shaft aiming system and my shot accuracy has gone up quite a bit. The challenge for me is having the discipline to not sway from this routine during the simple shots. Thank you for your instruction!

I just found your videos but you explain things very well unlike anyone I've heard from being around pool I've wanted to take my pool skills to the next level and I think this is it

I want to really learn this. So do you look at the pocket first, target ball then cue before you pull the trigger? One guy below said that his elbow is already back at three when he pulls the trigger. Thanks much! I liked and I'm subscribed!
I have a complete lesson on eye patterns in my online course. I weave all of the different aspects together to make it all fit. The short answer is no. And there should be no movement of the cue during 123. I explain the eye patterns in complete detail in the online class. Call me for a free consultation 606-669-8401. Love to have you in the class.
During the "set", do you mean to confirm the aim point one more time ? I just notice your videos last week, and they make sense. They are clear and very instructional with high quality. Thank you.

good to practice. I know I used to practice this but I think mine has gotten shorter. Over the years. I also sometimes find that it helps to draw back slow and smooth on my practice strokes.
As a past instructor at Cue U. I taught the 3 second count in the backswing position....practice, practice, practice, draw back, pause 123,, then stroke. Is your method more efficient and should I change to the set position while the cue is close to the cue ball? This was Bob Radford’s approach in our lesson plans. What is your opinion?
Bob, during practice, I teach a "123" count at the SET, a "12" count at the PAUSE and a "1234" count at the FINISH/FREEZE position. Seems to work out perfectly. I have been doing it for years and my students get good results. I highly recommend it. Thanks for watching!
I had trouble with the counting thing. I trained myself at the set to breathe in out one time. Then breathe in again and pull my arm back while breathing in. Breathe out and make my stroke while breathing out. Dunno why but counting confuses me .
Yes, the counting will mess you up at first but it is completely worth it to relearn the game using this technique. It's quite common for it to take 4-6 weeks to retrain yourself in the correct manner. Always remember that during actual play you don't want to count. During play it's just subconscious delivery with the stroke you have trained yourself to use. Thanks for watching. Be sure to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE so we can keep the channel going! I went hill hill with SVB at the Derby City Classic. Reached the final four of the winners bracket of the BCA National 8-Ball championships in Vegas out of 1186 players. Might not beat you but I can play a little bit. I have a. 713 Fargo rating. If you don’t play pro speed you are gonna have problems. Looked up your Fargo rating which is 513. Sounds like you need several games on the wire.
The creaky floor is awesome 🤟Thanks for the great advice!

Very often when I missed it is because I didn’t set long enough. Need time for eyes to fix on the target and not just see the target.
Do you still do instructional videos ?

When striking the cue ball, where should the eyes be focused? On the cue ball or the object ball? Or?
Object ball when you shoot the shot
