I was thinking about the U.S. Southern accent and how charming it is. As kids in the U.K. we had Southern accents in cartoons such as Penelope Pitstop and Huckleberry Hound (less popular) and I can now see why those shows had that accent, it is very endearing.
This was one of the most satisfying and relaxing ASMR videos I’ve ever watched. I would watch you straighten any aisle in a store and talk about the products. I grew up in KY, and now live in California. While the weather is great, I miss the people and the sound of a southern drawl. Listening to you speak was like eating comfort food, good for my soul!
That's interesting because they cant actually call dove "soap", they have to call it a beauty bar since it lacks a lot of the natural moisturizers that have to be included in order to call it soap, the company removes them to use as moisturizers in their other products which saves them money, I wonder if those moisturizers cause irritation to your skin.

10:47 Good of you to leave that space! When I stocked shelves when working at a store it was always a pain to get in new stock and have someone on a previous shift had spread it out to look nice and not having paid attention to new deliveries.

I've got to say the U.S. has to have one of the most impressive range of products on sale in the supermarkets compared to Europe but the shelves are one of the most unordered I have ever seen. Is there a tradition in the U.S. to pick products up and just change your mind after seeing a better product and discarding the one you dont want to buy anymore absolutely anywhere ? In Europe we are almost taught that we enter shops by invitation and the products are not ours to do what we will with them until point of sale. Maybe it's a cultural thing in America like 'the customer is king's or something!
I was always taught to go put stuff back if you decided not to buy it, but I think a lot of people just don't bother. Having worked in retail for several years, I know what a pain it is for the employees to have to go around putting all that stuff back. People are just lazy.
Close, they say "the customer is always right". Basically the customer has a million other stores they could go to, so if you don't kiss their asses and let them do whatever they want, they might decide to spend their money somewhere else. A true tragedy 🙄.
@@outtapocketbudgets In the UK customer service in shops is pretty bad in my experience. In Spain it's ok but not as good as it was decades ago. Strange how things have changed. When I went to New York in the mid 2000's customer service was ok, nothing special.
Don't kid yourself. I work in retail in the UK. Customers I deal with on a daily basis are some of the most disgusting specimens ever. They open things (and don't buy them) toss stock everywhere, leave their half drunk coffee cups and food wrappings all over the place, make completely unreasonable demands and speak to you like you're worth very little. 😒
I’ve worked in retail (a grocery store to be specific) and one of the worst things that people often do is leave cold and perishable goods in the aisles with the dry goods. Just the other night at Walmart I saw someone leave chocolate milk in the same aisle with the cereal. Do they expect this not to spoil or do they just not care? I once found a two month old bag of salad at my store behind a display of detergent.

These amazing sounds of these little soap boxes was some of the best asmr I’ve heard in a long time. Especially the plastic wrapped ones. Love this video:).
I use the Marula Oil hand soap as well as body wash, I didn't know it came in a bar. I may try it, the body wash is a little more perfumey but the hand soap smells so good! The Pink Himalayan Salt is my absolute favorite but it's always out when I go to the store! I may have to order online.
Same here!! 😅 I used the Marula Oil soap for sooo long and then discovered the Himalayan Salt soap and absolutely fell in love!! But it's so dang hard to find sometimes. Wish I could buy a bulk container. 💕

These are my favorite!! I wish my dollar store had such a big selection of soaps. It's amazing how in different dollar stores and ones in different states carry so many different things... boy I must love the word different lol I used it 3 times in that sentence lol. I live in a small town so the dollar stores around me never have a lot of the things that I see people buy on UA-cam. I wish they did!

I use Dove personally and I have sensitive skin. It's the only soap that makes my skin not break out:)
