A flagship processor, compact size for one hand use, 3.5mm earphone jack, a 30W charger included inside box. Perfectttt
I love the smaller size.. Really can't wait and hope more phones move in this direction ❤
Smaller, pocketable, affordable while being compatible💯
look how the iphone mini went, it will never be a mainstream
The Zenfone 9 has been such a good phone. Obviously not upgrading this year because the 9 is pretty killer and I like to hold onto my phones for a while, but i do hope Asus sticks with the high end, small form factor for the Zenfone for the forseeable future
they can skip 1@2 yrs for this model.
Zf9 is sufficient for 1-3yrs.
some more, small fon no longer popular.
Whats the battery like? Any pros and cons for daily usage? Would really appreciate a user opinion.
@@Sierra_mike get the zf10
@@azuanism sufficient for 3 years?
I still use redmi note 8t since 3 years and i'll use it until its death
Kudos to Asus for keeping the small flagship alive, plus the headphone jack. However the bezels should be reduced for a 2023 flagship 😅
Yes looks like a midrange phone with a huge chin, struggling to figure out why anyone would buy this over an S23 which is actually smaller and cheaper.
Zenfone 10 is heavier ,taller and thicker than S23 while it has smaller screen 5.9(vs6.1) and 1 less camera lens(lacks telephoto). the only thing small here is the screen size… the compactness of this phone is overhyped .
Gonna be hard to hit that price point.
@@noah-j00 probably because it's dense and have bigger battery.
@@corsinivideosdesign is subjective but i do like it on zenfone the battery is better than my s23 for sure and i use iem on regular basis so 3.5mm is a must. On s23, u have to use dongle with built in dac for it to work which is quite expensive.
Remeber when samsung launched a 5 inch galaxy note, and how people were in disbelief of it's screen size.
Now a 6 inch phone is considered "small".
Amazing how times change
Pretty sad, actually. 5 inches is still a huge screen size, nobody makes normal-sized phones nowadays.
man, who cares about the box? it just goes into the trash. its job is to protect what is inside and not look fancy by being wasteful.
I hope they improve the image processing and camera software and lack of autofocus on the ultrawide is a bummer, but honestly, it ticks so many other boxes I think I'm voting with my wallet on this one and finally downsizing my daily. Nothing has tempted me away from the OnePlus 7T Pro, but a clean UI with useful enhancements is what I wanted and the newer OnePlus devices have gone the wrong way.
Zenfone 10 is an upgrade in many things as compared to OnePlus 7t pro, I am not sure if it has a better camera than 7t pro or not. But yeah it's an upgrade in almost every other category as compared to 7t pro.
Just a thought, how is google pixel 7 as compared to Zenfone 10 ?
Camera wise and long term software updates wise Google pixel 7 will be better. Processor wise and display wise Zenfone 10 is better.
What do you think about Google pixel 7 as compared to Zenfone 10 ?
I have a 6t and I think the zenfone 10 or s23 is going to be my next phone.
@@ali_says1 display brightness is worse on the Zenfone 10 vs the Pixels and especially the S23 range, but better refresh rate. The Pixel 7 Pro is a better screen though cos it has LTPO etc.
The OnePlus 7T Pro camera setup is in theory better because it has a telephoto lens and Autofocus on ultrawide so it can do macros. Overall quality and processing of pics is probably better on Zenfone 10 for end results. And performance. Quicker shots and camera launch + stability on the Zenfone. It's a mixed bag.
@@TheChiraagG Alright I got your points, it's a mixed bag and processor being its main highlight followed by some other good things it has to offer. Overall a good device for everyone except for those who want ultra flagship level latest camera.
@@ali_says1 pretty much. As much as I want a good camera setup, I want a compact powerhouse with good battery life more...
Everyone going mad over the Zenfone. We had the Samsung S10e offering the same a few years ago which im still using. That thumb button on thevsude is brilliant. Its light as well. And it was cheaper.
s10e ist the best phone i can think of.
the new zenfones are nice and fit a niche that the bigger brands dont always fill with their small phones but i miss the flippy cameras of the older zenfones :(
What kills it for me is the 2 Year Update cycle. I currently am using a Pixel 6a and i am not a big fan of it. Feels too big and sluggish performance. But it gets guaranteed updates up to July 2027!
If you want updates, Samsung is the way to go. Although at least you have 4 years of security updates, which is the bigger concern for me
If it makes you feel any better I place a good bet your pixels port will destroy it's self before 27 as you have no wireless charging. Then you will find out that you're port is soldered and it's not viable to fix outside of warranty.
It's something to seriously consider.
@@mark12810older phone don't have those issues😂 you kids are making things up
WARNING:
I have the Zenfone 9 and I must warn you before buying:
There is a bug, since Zenfone 7 maybe, with the proximity sensors, it is a software issue, not hardware.
basically the screen is being turned ON during calls or in the pocket, and from there the random touches can take you everywhere.
ASUS has done nothing to fix it and just ignored the countless complaints by customers.
this is the king of compacts, good review 😉
To me this is the best compact phone till date.
Lack of macro kills it for me… hopefully my 2017 iPhone SE can hold on just a bit longer. Hopefully the 11 will still have the headphone jack. Longer software support time would be very much appreciated as well. Great review; thanks!
Can't wait to see how thw Z11 will be like. Having grown tired of the gigantic S23U I'm looking for a compact alternative. The S24 comes with Exynos chip, so that's a no-go. Looking forward to the Zenfone 11.
11 не будет.?
I personally like phones with some bezels cause it gives you a space rest your thumb when holding your phone in landscape mode.
one thing i love about supersaf is that even if you play video at 360p it looks like 1080p
I hope they make the zenfone 11 5.5 inch with 4k battery next year. I want a smaller phone.
that would indeed be perfect. I would buy that old iPhone mini if there was a way to avoid all the apple stuff. crazy there isn't something similar available on android
Agreed.
not really, the Zenfone is too small for competition which is why it's failling, a 6.1" bezeless phone like the S23 is perfect compact size as that thing is literally smaller and way slimmer than zenfone 10, its only 2.8mm wider because of the 19.5:9 aspect ratio which is better for texting and watching youtube videos, as you'll have less black bars on the sides compared to zenfone's and other manufacturers 20:9 displays
1 more reason the Zenfone is failing against S23 and iPhone 14 is because of the "2" years only of OS support which is a joke for a 700$ flagship in 2023 meanwhile samsung and apple are giving 4 and 5 years respectively of OS updates
The hardware on the zenfone is amazing and could theoretically last for a decade especially with the big battery, but its the lack of support that's gonna kill it in a couple of years.
check for S23 or Xiaomi 13.
@@alexandru256 its 6.1 and 6.3 inch
Zenfone's design reminds me so much of google Nexus 5. From the black chassis to the polycarbonate back and the camera module.
I think the Zenfone 11 next year camera should be better this time
Love the bromance between SuperSaf and mkbhd a lot…and happy to see this new kind of video style of yours, very different, very enjoyable ❤
Definitely want either zenfone 9 or 10 but because of security updates I feel like I have to go for the 10
99% people said thanks atleast a good small form factor flagship is alive, but actual they all used large phone.
Awesome editing bro congrats 🎉
I actually love the bezels it looks symmetrical on top & bottom, maybe it is not in reality but it looks symmetrical to me, but yeah there's a chin.
I wish they had uniform slimmer bezels for the price.
I love a compact flagship, and this isn't the only one. The Galaxy S23 is the same size. It's basically the same height and weight, technically actually a tiny bit shorter and lighter, and a little bit thinner. The only dimension it's bigger in is width. As much as I'd like to go for the Zenfone it's a hard sell when the S23 exists.
The width says it all.
70.9mm, s23 is not compact phone at all.
@@fantasytky28 I mean, if width is your only metric for whether a phone is compact or not, then sure. But it's also relative to your size. I'm a guy, the S23 is definitely compact in my hand. Anything smaller, like the old S10e, is more like a "mini" to me than just compact.
@@ezradanger relatively small in your hand, not the others
@@fantasytky28 not compact in your hand, but is in others.
@@ezradanger base on your logic then even s23 ultra is compact in many others hand. That's a reason why width around 68mm and below is considered compact while anything over that like70.9mm on s23 is not.
A dedicated camera comparison b/w Zenfone 10 and S23 please
I just need to watch your video about the Zenfone 10, and now I know that I don't need to upgrade. Because I really love Zenfone 9 that I have right now, and also I don't use the wireless charging so no need to upgrade 👍
Really liked your video. Best review for this phone. What racing game was that?
Awesome unboxing keep it up as always Eid Mubarak Takabbalallahu Minna wa minkum bro
This, the iPhone 14, 14 Pro and Samsung S23 are all exactly the same size as this. The screen is smaller only because bezels are bigger. But, I would pick this over the S23 because the software is less bloaty. I have pixel 7 so I am going to stick with it, but I do love this Zenphone 10 .
I have the pixel 7 too and I'm really thinking about trading it in for this. I miss my pixel 5 form factor.
I wish phones with this size but still having 3x optical. Currently there are only Galaxy S( non pro non plus version) and iPhone Pro version that are sort of compact phones with everything.
The Galaxy S23 is almost identical in physical size, but with the 3x Optical AND a bigger screen.
@@thenameskrisgand much longer & more timely updates
@@thenameskrisg Not only it´s bigger, even if i couldn´t care less about the overall size, but the bezels at the S23 are gorgeous compared to the ZF10.
you never heard xperia 5 iii ??
Finally Zenfone have A Wireless Charge...one of the features that a flagship should have
Like your review. But people stop complaining about the chin and bezel, in every phone. It is what created this uncessary trend of notches, punch-hole cameras and the death of useful features like front-flash and LED indicators.
Only 2 years of OS updates is simply not good enough, DOA
I mean it has 4 years of security updates for such a small market size I think it's fine
@@swasho2939 well, not everyone has enough money to change flagship phone every year. I change them in 3-4 years, so 2 years of updates it's really not enough
@@jesker2548 I mean the phone will still be fine
Love Asus.. there's a market for small form factor smartphones we small handed folks appreciate it
S23 vs Xiaomi 13 vs Asus ZenFone 10 should be great for compare?
compact size. long battery usage. 10/10
what a time! 6.0" is considered compact😂 i remember samsung releasing the galaxy "mega" with 6.0"
Damn, I really should stop getting my hopes up. I was expecting 5in height when you said small, lol. Something like the 2014 Zenfone 5. I miss being able to reach every part of the screen with my thumb comfortably.
I can't believe this phone only comes with 2 years of software updates, otherwise everything else is great 😢
And their bootloader unlock servers are down at the moment, and they said it will be back Q3, so there might not even be a ROM upgrade path.
Same...
Was just about to buy this phone and just found out ASUS stopped supporting bootloader unlocking for the Zenfone 9 and 10. So You HAD a perfect phone and you botched it. With privacy, right to repair, and control over the devices we own becoming more and more important to people, this move is a step in the wrong direction for ASUS.
ASUS, support bootloader unlocking for your phones and you have my purchase.
It reminds me of my Galaxy S10e.
Everything this phone does is amazing, especially the 3.5mm jack and the included charger adapter. If only the screen was at least 6.5 inches and it had a triple camera setup with the image quality as good as a Sony or at the very least like that of a Pixel. Ultimately, the only thing it comes down to these days is the Camera and screen size for me because everything else is more or less the same on every phone.
I think the whole point is the screen is not 6.5 inches
I wouldn't call that a 'small' phone. I recently bought the Unihertz Jelly Star which really is a small phone (3"). Been using it for a week now and it performs fantastic!
According to GSMArena the front camera on the Zenfone 10 does not have a larger sensor size.
Here coming from someone who own 7 zenfones. From Zenfone 2 Deluxe all the way to Zenfone 7. And to ROG. You get a temporary performance. [5-6 months] With every update get slower. Asus many time they release weird update or beta update[ 3 of the phone i had they got soft brick/hard brick] and since in Canada there's no support for zenfone i've to ship it oversea to Taiwan for repair. So yes and no. When Asus start treat their customer right might be. Do yourself a favour and stick with regular phone which provide support to their customers.
Small bezel makes the phone fragile to damage it's a trade off I prefer more durable
They should have kept the autofocus on the ultra wide angle and front camera.
The best phone❤
Is the Zenfone 10's back cover prone to scratches like Zenfone 9? That was the only thing that kept me from buying the ZF9.
I want 30% smaller than this
The phone makers do understand that not everyone is looking for a small phone with high end performance!
There are many people who just need a mid range phone in a compact size
Where is your Pixel Fold review at?
im inlove this phone.
this is my wishlist.
hopefully have this unit in the Philippines.
I don't know why people hate on bezels? I like to see my screen separately from the chassis. Just a round flat screen nothing else nothing more.
As a famous person I'm sure they will listen to you i hope that you tell them that ZenFone 11 ultra looks like sh** with all due respect ZenFone 10 is fantastic if the cameras were a little bit better it would be a masterpiece ZenFone 10 is the perfect phone to me
Me who wants smaller phones... "happy happy happy"
Where is google pixel 7a review or camera comparison? I was thinking about buying 7a after camera comparison video but you didn't
My award for best "small" phones as of now are S23 and iphone 14 pro
proud to be one of the 10% gigachads
A very long time ago Asus had launched the Padfone S which has Qi wireless charging. So this is not the first time for them.
I'm planning to upgrade this year (and maybe change carriers)--I own a Samsung Galaxy S7 with a screen less than six inches. From your informative review, the Zenphone 10 looks like a phone to consider (should the carrier I'm with, or switch to, carries it). Thanks for the info!
Is S7 still running smooth or how much is the drop in performance since you've bought it ?
@@pratyushpriyam7 It works decently. I'm not a mobile gamer or use many apps (I use a few social media sites, but not as often as on an actual computer) beyond calling, texting, and camera.
@@donventura2116 go for the S23 or Xiaomi 13 , zenphone is SHIT compared to those.
I prefer macro shot than wireless charging. Can we have macro shot with apps? Is SD8+ gen 1 has overheat issues?
i used zenfone 9 right now .i not fan of software update .even i get update android 13 ,i not update it..i disable system update using cmd..my phone run smoothly, no problem, no update bug, no lag😁😁
5:52 what processor is on the Zenfone? It's not the stabilization, it just processes pretty darn fast in my opinion Saf from what I'm seeing🧐🕵🏿♂️
Edit:plus the cameras on the Zenfone are better than the iPhone 14 pro max(FACTS)
Wait your crying about the box that youll never used again, saying it needs an upgrade??? What a useless review👎👎
Great review. I liked it even more than mkbhds.
I'm sold! I was thinking to get the Xperia 5 V but the Zen phone seems to be a much better option.
I really like this phone. It made me miss my Pixel 5 form factor.
Sadly a step back in terms of cameras. Cancelled my preorder
The main thing that block me from using it is android update support
How I wish they refresh their Asus padfone concept. From small phone transform into tablet with additional battery power, higher quality screens, stylus
why compare it with iphone pro max? that thing is 1300 euro? why not same price iphone?
I'm in a quest for finding my next phone and selected a few. A pixel 7, zenfone 10 and Nothing Phone 2. As I watch reviews I incline more and more towards the zenfone. Are there any zenfone users in the comment section that cand give me some props in regards with it?
The battery is pretty good like really really good, the best one so far for me, litterally better than my old poco f2 pro and poco x3 gt with bigger batteries. The UI is very smooth even with 60hz, i just use 60hz since it save more battery and enabling dc dimming mode. It come with free headphone and the included headphone is suprisingly good so you are good to go without buying any additional thing
But the things i don't like is the OS is so basic and barebone if compared to MIUI, and updates is slow compared to Xiaomi, charging is slow too
@@Yoedi16 thank you for getting the time to share this. Wish you happy holidays.
Indeed the os update was a concern for me, as for the clean ui, that's a go for me as I like it.

Side punch hole 📸
Dolby Atmos speakers
Polycarbonate back, to reduce weight
Mediatek Helio G99 or Dimensity 6080
Price : Rs 15,000 to Rs 18,000

Sir which sunglass brand and model did you wear in making this video ?
Well, the software features mostly feel like stuff you would have on like any typical samsung phone, like double slide down using the fingerprint sensor and edge tool and stuff.
Really love my Zenfone 10
Had me all excited, a six inch screen is not small... will sadly have to stick with my Xperia xz1 compact and custom firmware for the time being
As long as my apps and games are compatible I don't mind a small phone. I prefer a smaller size
For 799$ or less the S23 is the best compact of this year periode... Even with a smaller battery, the S23 can last you a day. Other than that, the S23 has Dex mode, better cameras, a better operating system, 4 years of Android updates, 5 years of security updates... The S23 wins effortlessly.
I generally buy budget smartphones(typically moto g phones), so this would be a huge departure and I'd be spending 4 times I usually do; even so I am tempted. Those comparisons of the ultrawide camera from the 9 to 10 though are not flattering for the 10. Really should bring back that macro or whatever to fix that issue.
I like smaller phones, with headphone jack and ample storage (usually via microSD)(for mp3 files for offline listening and photos and video). The moto g line has unfortunately gotten worse with time since 2020; bigger screens and the video recording went from 1080p 60 or 4k 30 to only 1080p 30. That is a massive downgrade for a phone in the same exact price range and naming scheme. If they didn't cheap out on the video quality I'd probably just go for another moto g phone, but I keep gravitating back to the zenfone because it ticks all my boxes(by buying the bigger capacity option, unfortunately no microSD.
I have a few other bigger purchases on my radar too, so I'll try to make my moto g power last as long as possible(charging port is damaged, so I have to plug the type C cable in backwards for it to charge).
I really love the size of this phone but it's hard to get in UK on an upgrade. Still using pixel 4a cause of the size not sure what to upgrade to after
yes there seems to be no option, though I think the pixel 7a is pretty small. I think I'll use my smashed up phone for another year and hope something smaller comes along
@@subspaceanomaly I agree 👍🏼
Does it have micro SD expandable memory and can it hold 2 sim cards at once?
Hello, is there an original screen protector?
In a nutshell ZenFone 10 has better processor, wireless charging, slightly worse camera. Not sure that is worth the £300 price difference compared to the 9 available at discount now
Asus still lives? Havent seen an asus phone since 10 years ago
it is the best small phone because it is the only one...
I really like the small size of the phone
What happened to your camera comparison videos ??
Blatantly deceptive advertising, because they've obviously told one of their photoshop minions to touch up the promo photos to hide the mismatch. They obviously know it's ugly yet would rather lie and cover up than be honest, or pay their engineers enough to fix it.
Better than the S23 or iPhone 14 Pro? Not so sure.
I thought the Zenfone 9 just came out? Does anyone know if the 10 is really out there?
This is the right choice of asus i think , no need change the design just upgrade the hardware and software👍
I don't know why, but no matter how many times I see it, I see a ghost of Nexus 5 in terms of form factor.
The front bezzels looks so outdated sadly 😢 its like 200$ phone from 2020 ish, and i think put the punch hole in the middle is better & symetrical
