@@waterovertoiletpaper1652I don’t think there is difference financially between Reenu and Sachin. Reenu was just better at studying and had a real plan for her life , so she got a good job much quicker than Sachin
@@AgentN-s5u Also its very common to see woman with jobs in big cities appear more affluent and that is due to the fact that they come from upper class families themselves and hence don't have much economical pressure on them, contrary to men, who come from a majority and have the burdens of looking after their own family and vice versa.
Your appreciation to character with actual personality and not just girl boss or macho man is most welcome. Earned a like. Though I will have to binge your content for a sub.
damn bro, just binge watched ur video essays and they are great. it collides with how i view films too, when i saw videos, i searched for 'ante sundaraniki' which is modern screenplay masterpiece acc to me. i love vivek athreya and so happy to know that a video is coming up on it. keep up the good work
Great video - the only let down for this movie i feel is the last sequence where Renu confesses her feelings. Personally, I think the film should've ended as the leads having a heart to heart and remaining friends. The movie makes it clear that Sachin has romanticised his friendship with Renu as he does with the girl in college. I feel like that wouldve showed better growth for Sachin as a character. For Renu, the take down of Adi's character is sufficient to break down her ideas of what an ideal man should be.
Hey thanks. You make an interesting point. It didn't bother me that much because I don't think every relationship exists only to be successful some relationships can serve to help you grow as a person. I feel Renu and Sachin's relationship is one such. Idk what they'll do in the sequel but for me they felt like a relationship which may or may not have a happy ending overall but at their current ages are right for each other.
Your analysis is just too good, beautifully written and presented because never in a point i got bored, and it was subtle, plus so maturely written, also im reading the comments, so are the audience of yours picking it up... Loved it, please make more content...
@@waterovertoiletpaper1652i think i said this in another video already lmao but dont hesitate making that video long if it needs to be. god knows we need better long-form content creators in india, and kishkindha kandam has so much to dig your teeth into.
I didn't really think of it that way because I feel like airport climaxes are fairly common in romantic films and moreover the context is much different in Tholi Prema. In Tholi Prema the heroine while leaving realises her love but here Sachin confesses it much before. There might be similarities but I wouldn't call it a rip off.
I really liked this video and was going to share it with my friends. But you started using cringe sexist words like toxic masculinity. Overall it was a good video but I'm reluctant to spreading nazi type of ideas against any gender
Toxic masculinity is a real thing... just because its used randomly by ppl doesnt automatically make it a stupid word... also comparing it w "nazi" is reaaaally pushing it maam
Sachin is no way from a poor family but from a broken family. Apart from this tiny detail the analysis was great.
I meant Sachin was comparatively poorer than Renu which I believe is the case. Anyways I'm glad you enjoyed the rest of the video 🫶🏻

Sachin is clearly shown as someone from a poorer background in comparison to Renu

Preemalu Climax is complete rip off of Toliprema Climax but that worked as Nostalgia for most of the telugu people

Premalu climax is reference Malayalam Chandralekha(1997). Premalu makes a lot of references of old Malayalam movies, not Toliprema(1998).
DO NOT FORGET ME BTW
