It is personally truly an inspiration to watch you keep on going after what you've shared with us and what you are going through Tony. God bless you and may you keep doing what you love as long as you are capable of. You'll be in my prayers mate. That said, that procumbens nana looks amazing; I have this thin-as-pencil-trunk old gold juniper which I would like to style someday and this is inspiring me to do so. Cheers!
Thanks for your video. It's good to see you enjoying your trees. They are very relaxing when we've got to spend some time on them. Keep it up and best wishes Tony.
There all Squamata Junipers or commonly known as needle junipers. There a ground covering plant, slow growing, and not the best of the juniper family for Bonsai, but who cares seeing that smile on your face makes them the right junipers. Take care Tony, keep loving those trees.
Just love the endless variety of juniper types and styles you've set up in this vid. The needles, the branch structure and movement - each is unique and rustically beautiful. Every passing year will add to their rugged lines - very excited to see more!
I‘m trying on Junipers several times. But since I have nearly killed my first one, I really hesitate to prune them. So great to see your trees, getting inspired and maybe, in the future, I am ready to help mine developing their way… 🙏 Thanks Tony for sharing and enjoy your day 🙋♀️ Cheers Martina
I hope it's all down in the database buddy! Sounds to me like you need to get the kettle on and get stuck in I know you're not the biggest juniper fan, but if you pick out t a couple and say to yourself that you'll just enjoy styling them with no expectationsm , I think you will
There is a big range at Conifer Garden Nursery in Dandenong. I have got a few from them - junipers as well as other conifers. I order on line to skip the drive!
would it be ok to do root work with junipers at this time of year or just giving them a tidy? I have one that I got think it has two trees in the one pot
Ah the good ol prickly junipers. Nice little bit of work there Tony. Always satisfying to see your results 👍

Thanks Sue. That combination of early wiring and just leaving them to grow seems to work well in terms of developing interesting material I think

Nice one Tony. I wonder how many foreign viewers have come across 'titivating' before? Or how it works in Google translate...😊
