    Arghh, sooo you sold me. My carts ready at Oak City for my setup of mediums. :) :) grabbing them in a couple days. I’ve been waiting to pull the trigger on these frames for a minute. That blueberry wax smell is the absolute best ha

    I feel like the more you ride flat & get used to them since your grinds take some adjustment to find that sweet spot, the more you don’t want to ride anti rockers again.
    I have the Oysi Medium chassis in 269mm, rolling Famus 64mm/90A billet metal cores as the outer wheels & Dead 2020 58mm/95A round profile for the inner wheel. Basically a flat setup with an extremely slight 0.5mm rocker. All i can say is these frames are super solid, no rattle or sounds like most anti rocker setups. Nice metal frame spacers. I don’t know what it is but the Famus wheels set up correctly with the bearing press & right bearing spacer length those wheels spin so well. All in all I don’t have anything bad to say, they’re very well made frames, solid, roll fast & grind fast. Perfect combination if you’re looking for a flat setup with a smooth fast ride & added maneuverability having 8 down while still having your trick/grind library completely available!

      Currently I'm Comparing Oysi to THEM frames. And the more I ride them frames the more I don't feel like I wanna ride Oysi. Same on THEM frames. You get a great roll if the bearings are pressed good. They are very solid and would make awesome anti rocker too. I still can't decide between Flat and Anti uggg i love them both.

      @@jadrollervlog I haven’t rode any of the THEM boots yet or their frames. Most people who have them seem to enjoy the boots though! I’m sure the frames are great too.
      I completely understand, it’s really hard to choose a favorite because they both have their pros & cons for certain circumstances. I’ve rode mainly GC FLT’s the last 10 years besides a few other ani rocker frames in the mix. My GC are on a shaved bottom Salomon boot with Adapt souls. The Oysi frame setup is on a USD Farmer Sway boot with the MyFit Crown Farmer liner. I got lucky enough to find me a pair of the last few 41-42 boots overseas because the US had been sold out of basically all sizes for awhile. I figured if I didn’t snag them recently then I’ll never be able to get them since they were only doing one run of manufacturing for that model.

    Perfect indecision! GC Flt 3 are the gold standard for anti rocker and these Oysi seem to be the same for flat! Having both to hand for different scenarios seems like the best bet 😊

    Thanks for your video! I ride anti-rocker and I changed the plastic wheels with urethane anti-rocker wheels with bearings. It's much better for riding over bumps and transitions. I should give a try riding flat with the oysi. Cheers

    Great comparison video! Awesome production quality too! I love both Oysi frames but I have notice if you get a bit too sideways on the mediums, the side of the wheel bit protection area slides out on ya. You feel that when rolling around? Could have just been the wheel profile of my center two wheels. Cheers!

    Oh man, I'm broke at the moment and really, REALLY want to try a flat setup but I got the FLT 3 frames and I've only rode anti-rocker. I don't know if it would work if I put regular wheels instead of anti-rocker.

    • @jadrollervlog
      @jadrollervlog  4 роки тому +2

      Hello! Thank you. Yes I typically shoot 4k 24fps and sometimes swap over to 4k 60fps or 1080 120fps like in this video. I have a Fuji X-T4.

      @@jadrollervlog nice one thanks man. Do you film different clips from the same video in different frame rates or stick to the same frame rate for everything? For example, if you film one slomo clip in 120fps is the whole video then filmed at that frame rate or do you switch it back to 30fps for normal speed clips? Hope that made sense!

      @@jadrollervlog I am pretty new to skating but also skate AR and I am curious as to why 60mm wheels are a part of your preferred setup. I started with 58mm ( now they are more around 55 😁) and hearing about your Featherlite frame that can roll 64mm wheels sounds like a dream. Btw, I couldn’t help but to shake my head and laugh when you mentioned how the AR wheels drag on rollers and other obstacles. It’s so true and oddly enough I have gotten used to it, just as I am now used to my kids slamming the back door when they go outside, but every now and again it catches me off guard and the sound makes me nearly jump out of my skin 🤣

    Very good video! I've been eyeing out the Oysi frames for some time, but I do have a set of brand new Featherlite 2 lying around, so my mind has a hard time justifying getting the oysi + new wheels. If I did get the Oysis, what size would be best for a THEM 908 size S boot?

      Nope. Oysi will fit on THEMs. You just have to loose fit the ufs bolts first. Then tweak them down evenly like you would on a car tire. Oysi fits great on them skates.

      @@ppconde.1993 I would say no for the bowl cuz you could catch the sides of the frame quite easy. It's great to stop wheel bite, but when carving and turning tight it's easy to catch the frame on the floor and slip 😬 BUT it can be done you've just got to adjust your skating. Personally wouldn't be my first choice, but if you're planning to do a lot of grinding you can't go wrong.
      Great for grinding with though!
