I want to ask a question about a few videos I saw on the internet. I have seen some people reset their EGS ISN with e-sys. 6hp 8hp egs7 etc. How do they do this? Is BMW AOS required for this?
Yes you are right it is doable via esys.
But special SWFL file (modified) is needed.
Also that method will not work on all EGS
Thanks for the interesting video! I had a question, after coding and programming, esys still showed 43 - right headlight (German - Frontlichtmodul rechts) and 44 - right headlight ( Frontlichtmodul rechts), although it should be 43 - Frontlichtmodul "links" (German - links, English left). Will this not affect the operation of the lights?
It is just information for the user. Esys takes reference from ECU index (x43 and x44)
So it will not affect the programming procedure

@@BimDoc Oh, I was not aware of that one. I managed to install and work a bit with both Esys and ISTA on my G30, but I am not doing many things with it :)

I have similar issue with my F11, but esys wont see the TMS modules, I believe they are part of FRM3, and I dont get an option to compare cfd files. Kind of stuck with this problem now.

Visibility of TMS on F11 depends on headlight types! If you cannot see any TMS then yes they are being coded automatically when you are coding FRM3
If you have adaptive xenon for example then you would see TMS/FLE or smth like that.
But you can still swap TMS for a check.
@@BimDocThanks for reply, Im just kind of stuck with this problem now, the TMS module wont initialise via ISTA because its used, I believe the only way to get round this problem to disable ID check on FRM which I dont know how to do it.
Sorry for being so annoing, but would you be able to help on this on the remote service, obviously not for free.

It is doable on majority of the vehicles. So I guess yes it’s doable.

При работе использовал icom nano и VCX se
Так что напряжение скорее всего видно не от нано
Brilliant video, thank you. However, it does not seem to work for my pre-LCI 520. I changed my drivers side TMS module, but when I run ESYS it does not show the left and right FLM ECU's like in your video, so I cant check the software/code the new TMS. Maybe I need do something else.
It is important to understand do you have F10 or G30?
The reason why you don’t see TMS (but they are physically present) is because you have regular xenon lights (not adaptive) and in that case you cannot see TMS!
To code new tms just code FRM ECU and your new TMS will be coded in background.
That’s how it works on bmw 😉

Hello sir i have a question to ask, recently i was able to buy BMW S1000RR K67 2020 and up with Digital cluster, TFT screen, and this speedometer is smashed hard, and this speedometer is smashed hard, so i need to reprogram used one is there a chance that you know how to do it, used one is almost impossible to unglue to get inside.

Based on module description the both FLMs (43 and 44, see 19:20 min) are for right! The question is, is the launcher issue?
Yes this is the launcher decoding issue.
I even haven’t paid attention to that))
I just know that 43 is left and 44 is right. Because older launchers did not show that )

Hello. I have one question. Have G12. The battery replaced and it is 100ah, shoud i code it to 90ah or 105ah? Because i feel a litle bit lost. Coudnt find info on google, so decided to ask you.
Not every battery can be coded according to its specifications.
I always suggest to code the closes value.
In your case I would choose 105ah.
Also if you are driving shorter distances then even one more argument to code a bit higher value!

Привет, нужен совет. Е60, маск нави. Долго включается экран (1-2 мин, с другим маск все ок)
маск заглатывает диски все читает но не отдает, нет реакции на кнопку(панельку менял результата ноль) куда копать, может ты сталкивался с таким???
До этого стоял обычный маск, без нави
После замену ГУ вы его закодировали под авто?
Если да, то внутренняя неисправность. Учитывая стоимость Маск дешевле его заменить чем ремонтировать.

Владимир, добрый день. Проблема следующая, после запуска авто через пару минут езды, появляется сообщение "Предупреждени о наезде выключено" и соответственно не работает круиз. Где копать? Спасибо.
Причин может быть много. Всегда стоит сделать диагностику и тогда уже будет виднее.
Про такой ошибке круизом все равно можно пользоваться по старинке. Нажмите и удерживаете кнопку на руле (вроде была кнопка смены дистанции) и тогда круиз передет в другой режим.

If coding is not accepted (or initialization) then wrong part or mechanical damage inside ECU/Light
Try changing ECUs between lights
At the start of the video a can assume that istep is different in the module, will see :)

Small correction: "turn signal ECU" and "DRL ECU" are not ECU. This is just LED modules.
And please note that in newer laser headlights (SA 5AZ) on G12, G07, etc., the FLM-02 MID_10AH2S ECU is installed, this ECU is in a completely metal case. If, after clicking the "Detect CAF for SWE" button in the E-sys, you receive the error "Failed to get CAFs for SWE", this may mean that the wrong ECU is installed in the headlight. If you replace the laser headlight or its ECU, you may need to program the headlight ECU to add SWFK_00005CFC... (create TAL with 5AZ in FA), and this software remains in the headlight, and not in the ECU. Without this file, everything will work, the high beam too, but you will see the high beam faulty error (this means that the laser high beam is faulty).
Also, errors with programming or coding of the headlight ECU can be caused by faults inside the headlight itself, unconnected or faulty LED modules, or if the headlight adjustment motor is not working correctly.
Remember that LED modules can only be connected when the headlight connector is disconnected.
