To everyone nitpicking about Belgium's FN FAL being a German military rifle, West Germany's _Bundeswehr_ briefly adopted the FAL as the G1. Belgium refused to grant West Germany permission to produce the FAL under license, so all of West Germany's G1 FALs were manufactured and bought directly from Belgium. Political and economical considerations led to West Germany adapting Spain's CETME as the Heckler & Koch G3.
i wonder why the heckler and koch AR's look allot like american AR weapons , or maybe allot of SR weapons that usa uses aren't usa made but german made ?

I know a guy from way back when who may or may not have had some guys smuggle back a G3 full auto in the late 70s. It is quite an impressive rifle. One rifle that I have never had the experience with is the FN-FAL.
The most modern assault rifles use industrial plastics and metal. I'd admit, I'm a bit biased, the older models & design with wood laminates and metal were made to last and a thing of beauty. Germans definitely know how to make weapons.

The first non muzzle loading rifle made in 1848!? The Germans are always the first one’s to invent something first. Well there are many things 1. (After 1812) Before 1871 there is no such a thing as unified Germany, that is why there were so many rifles before Mauser 71. 2. After 1945-51-52 there are two states with different weapons (in between there are Volkspolizei in the East and Bundesgrenzschutz in the West) 3. Well AK-47 wasn't adopted by NVA in 1947 because of the next reasons, it will not BE widely adopted even in the USSR until early 50s when stampes vetsion was ready. Even though GDR produced milled version the NVA itself only appeared in 1956. 3. Why all classes of rifles are in one basket? Jäger, prototypes, carbines, sniper and antimaterial, etc. If you show FN FAL (G1) and G3, why not stg57 (G2). Same about other classes.
It makes no sense, that the rifles switch between Austrian and Prussian models and the Jäger rifle, also wasn't really being used by the normal infantry soldier but really just by the Jägerinfanterie
stg 44 was the first ak dsign , than later rusia captured the guy that made it and made him create better versions of it calling it ak 47 and other models , i don't more about this piece if history but this is what i've learned .
@@dataillusion, the rifle was used in limited numbers. I will say more: Belgium even refused to sell the license for the rifle to Germany, as a result of which the HK G3 appeared.
