The Nerd was a big reason why I kept using a DVD recorder for so long. I know a lot of people (mostly redditors with no life) were giving the Nerd a hard time for using DVD recorders for so long but to be honestly I don't really think it's all that big of a deal. I mean, when it comes to his most played console the NES, there's not really all that much of a difference in how you record them. Unless you either emulate or play some kind of official re-release, your footage is gonna look terrible.

Yeah, it would be impossible to do any kind of livestream and doing a LP would require you to sync a voice recording in post.
