Linda, I received my package today, and I LOVE IT! My daughter saw it and now she wants to wear it to work and loves it! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I will be sending a card to you, and you can read it on your vlog. ❤🩷💜🩵💚💙
If you could rent or borrow a small chipper, you could turn those fallen branches into great mulch. I found that heavy layer of mulch cuts down water requirement by 75% Sad to see the conditions you're getting right now.
Linda, you are an inspiration….you work so hard. I am sad to see your yard and garden parching. I am wondering if ours will do the same. It is monsoon season but the water evaporates before it hits the ground. I have 5 gallon buckets filled with water and am taking your lead on your compost tea….I have no recipe but I learned years ago to mix plant food in weak batches and feed my houseplants regularly with that weaker solution. It worked. So, as I am learning how to grow food (primarily salad plants) although I am trying out growing potatoes. Will see if that is a worth while effort for me here in the Rocky Mountains…it is fun to try. I do not comment much but I do watch faithfully. Bless you I do hope this intense heat and drought breaks for you soon. No clue if we will get more rain (less hail). We were allowed to have one rain barrel 2-3 year ago and now this year can have 2. BUT, we have to have the rain to collect in them. Smiling.
that one pepper of size is a jalapeño. I don’t know what the ones with purple blossoms are. The orange pepper is a habanero. HOT HOT!! This sun is going to ruin all our gardens. We are going to suffer food wise We will find out what a food shortage really is. There won’t be food to buy. We are headed for tough times. Take care 😢
@@lindahouser9814 they mostly like eggplants and tomatoes and they are resilient to most organic insecticides but seven dust works . You could also just squash them if you are into that.... bot for me though... lol
I sure love the fabric idea you have hope you get rain and relief from heat God Bless 🙏
Thank you! 😊

Sounds like you need to put out some rain barrels
Rain barrels aren't what they appear to be.
I have water containers all over the garden

that one plant you called something I thought I saw 1 or 2 cukes. Don’t think you know what you have growing. I like your sunflowers.
Sometimes seeds get mixed up but the heat has a lot to do with how things grow here
