Looks Good ! When my Momma made it, she always made big home made biscuites and we cut em open and put butter in em, and then poured the stew over em ! So Good !

I buy ribeye or sirloin for beef stew. As for quick and easy cooking, I'm retired, what's the rush. I love cooking.

I was watching the weather, and it looks like ya'll got some good rain coming your way. It doesn't look like we're going to get as much down here in Southeast Central, Texas. But I was praying you would get some rain, and yes ma'am I agree the price of meat is high. Shoot, for that matter the price of everything is high now days, and of lesser quality.
We got a small shower, more thunder and lighting than ran but hey I will take any that comes my way
I USE MY PRESSURE COOKER A LOT FOR MANY DIFFERENT THING'S!! I PUT THE BEEF IN FIRST GET IT SOME DONE AND THEN ADD CARROTS, POTATOES AND ONIONS AND PRESSURE IT ALL, QUICK AND EASY! 😊

Yes, you can substitute with chicken or pork instead of beef
I would never pay that for beef for stew. I would buy a cheaper cut.

That's one antique pressure cooker, my mom used one.

I had beef stew today and cranberry salad. They went well together. I had those for my lunch and supper combination today. Thumbs up on yours. I usually use my crockpot.

I guess I don't use crock pot that much Did not grow up cooking with one and I guess we get set in our ways, LOL
@@lindahouser9814 I didn't either or a pressure cooker. I have many sizes of crockpots and pressure cookers now though.

I have put my dehydrator on my patio table overnight to dehydrate Basil works great like that so I am not breathing it

I make beef stew with my left over roast beef . Why not use a lid when cooking potatoes and carrots ? And the carrots should have been started a half a hour before the potatoes ,
Try beef stock much better and your grave will be a lot more appealing

Linda, why didn't you rinse that meat off?
Because your packaged meats do not need to be rinched. In fact it is better not to rincd under the water because the meat is already cleaner than the water, have you not ever been yold this.
