In the early 90s they used to show Underdog, Rocky and Bullwinkle, George of the Jungle, and Dudley Do right, and all their associated mini cartoons, in a block of cartoons starting at 5am, I got up two hours early to watch them for years.
Used to watch Underdog cartoons, Heathcliff and.Riff Raff, Rocky & Bullwinkle, inspector gadget, but looney toons merry melodies were the best. Disney was Okay,.but not like Bugs, daffy, wiley roadrunner, speedy, Sylvester,.tweety, etc..
thanks for posting this old cartoon, i just love this old one it was my favorite to watch when i was a kid on saturday mornings. i hope that there is more of these to post. someday i hope to own all of these old cartoons. thanks again for posting this one
Both of these were produced in 1966; "Klondike Kat" was originally seen on "THE UNDERDOG SHOW", featuring the voices of Mort Marshall, George S. Irving, and Kenny Delmar; "The Sing-A-Long Family" was originally intended as the 90 second "middle segment" for the unproduced "THE CHAMPION" series (only 3 were produced)- they were eventually "folded" into the syndicated "UNDERDOG" and "UNCLE WALDO'S CARTOON SHOW" {"HOPPITY HOOPER"} packages....
Yes..Mort was the voice of "Dr.Stanley Livingston"on "Tennesse Tuxedo & His Tales" and he was the voice of"Friot Pie The Magician" for "The Animated Hostess Fruit Pies"tv plugs..Brian.
According to the book "Created And Produced By Total TeleVision Productions" by Mark Arnold -- eventually they were found, but they are picture and sound on separate reels, so no one is in a rush to do anything with them. But they do exist. Yay!
I did not know that, thanks! That makes sense, I always wondered why there were only three of them, or at least only three were shown. And I always wondered why "The Beagles" never showed up in any of the syndicated mix-and-match shows -- after all, "Klondike Kat" and "The King And Odie" were part of their show...
Sadly, the master film elements of "THE BEAGLES" were inadvertently destroyed a few years after its CBS run (only a few 16mm prints are known to exist).
Back in the days when you watched cartoons in the morning and then Mom kicked you outside to play with your friends! Good times!!
For me it was the best of times , nothing since can compare
"I'll make mince meat outa that mouse!" I haven't heard that line uttered in decades. Classic!

Actual first name was "Wonga."

I would have guessed Thurl Ravenscroft.
