    I’ve been watching a few SL-20s on reverb. Don’t have to drop major coin now to get these sounds! Boss is genius for reissuing these hard to find pedals in pedalboard formats. I’m ready for the Chorus Ensemble!!!

    I love the way it gets way more trippy than your standard tremolo.
    It's like all those crazy sounds TG got on their Gristlisers, that you just can't dial in at home. Great demo of a great pedal.

    I just got a TR-2 recently and I'm still deciding whether or not if it would be redundant to buy this when I already have a decent tremolo. And the fact that this pedal is less than $200 makes it extremely tempting to acquire one.

    I really want to try this pedal out. Love to put the ju06a through it. Also would be wicked putting the Sub Phatty through it. Get some weird percussive basslines out of it. Is it midi syncable?

    I play guitar for myself. I mostly do caveman riffs, and enjoy making weird noises and soundscapes. But, even I don't think I can do anything with this thing! Other than Omar Rodriguez Lopez idk of anyone else who use the slicer. He tends to do volume swells with it. I'm guessing you can use the extra inputs and outputs as an effects loop. Like putting a fuzz in the loop so when you kick on the slicer you get both.

      I use a signal blender, so I’m gonna put mine in my A chain and then blend it in with B and Dry to give it all an additional rhythmic texture. If you knock it back a bit, it just folds in with the drums and bass.

      the original slicer (SL-20) came out in 2008 (or 2006, can't remember). It was discontinued a short while ago and has been released in the compact format boss is known for.
