Thank you so much! I purchased two of your books and am trying the new cookbook. Love your show. There were pioneers like Linus Pauling that advocated vitamins before that Education act law was passed. Great show.

Does curry have the same benefits as curcumin or tumeric?

My wife is being diagnosed with MCI and we have just started a vegan lifestyle after reading your book . After viewing this video I come away with understanding that Vitamin B12, omega3, and tumeric (Curcumin) are beneficial for brain health. After viewing various products there are many dosage choices. So my question where can I find dosage requirements for vegans - or is this prescribed by a neurologist or PCP?
Note -My wife is 69 years old and currently takes fenofibrate (statin) levothyroxine (thyroid hormone) and alondrate (bone osteo)

The studies are not that innocent either. Most studies are done by Pharmaceuticals which follow their different agendas, sometimes promoting one thing while rejecting others for some years, then again a new drug and supplement/ cashcow from these compamies.

I appreciate this topic. I take a lot of supplements. I am vegan and I am running out of several supplements and I am wondering if they are doing any good. I am especially wondering about turmeric because I have arthritis and I have been taking turmeric capsules for months and months and I don’t see any change. So I will start using the powder in my foods and see if that helps. Thank you for talking about this subject. I will think twice about reordering any of mine except perhaps a multi vitamin.

Just use turmeric powder in your cooking along with black pepper, for better absorption. As a vegan, all you need is a b12 and during harsh winters a vitamin D. Take a table spoon of flax and a handful of walnuts for Omega. Keep your processed oil minimum.eat whole food plant based. You don’t need multivitamins.

Tumeric in natural form is best. Also, maybe have blood work done?

      Don't need a multivitamin bro. Take b12 and D3 and eat a variety of plants(including some flax/hemp/walnuts/chia). You'll be fine💪🏽

@@robrangerguy Get your Vitamin D level year round to be certain. Especially after Covid-19 which is very necessary as people are deficient!

My doctor recommends just a multi-vitamin, but I add turmeric and plant-based Omega 3 (but also B12 as am vegan).

Dr . Dean . With all due respect how do you feel absolute certainty in our system seeing properly prescribed pharmaceutical are 4 th leading cause of death? In your opening you basically canceled and dismissed anyone and anything that doesn’t align with your belief and current science which would be better addressed as current corporate findings. If medicine were a sports team it would be a very exclusive and discriminatory one, disallowing natural and superior talent that may come with affordability and true equality. You being inside the system has naturally skewed your objectivity and has made your thinking rigid and dependent on a closed game. Which for a man of discernment and high intellectual capacity is not a strength or service to the greater humankind. If science said wait for us to take you next breath I certainly hope you wouldn’t. You simply don’t know enough and hiding behind future certainties of science is an obstruction to true knowledge an obstruction to wisdom.
