At 35, I felt 55 before giving up my daily 40-50g+ sugar consumption. After switching to 25g or less, I can walk again after severe foot pain for years. I feel my age. It's so awesome

I was sitting next to my wife’s grandma who has Alzheimer’s. She was fairly alert and responsive to our conversations. My mother-in-law gave her a Pepsi to drink and by the time grandma finished about a quarter of the drink, she became completely unresponsive and sat quietly with no expression on her face.
I observed this but no one else did and I didn’t dare say anything because they wouldn’t have been agreeable to my observation. I still believe her condition could have been improved or even reversed with proper diet.

I understand how you feel. I'm dealing with my mom in late stage alzheimers. I've tried to encourage her and my father for years to get on a wfpb diet. They just don't listen to me. It is heartbreaking and frustrating to watch them go through this when I know it didn't have to be this way.

Thank you for saying it sugar is sugar. You can call it a lot of different names. But sugar is sugar.

On Dr. Oz last month, you demonstrated the effect of too much glucose on the brain with a model. I'd like to see that again since it helped me to understand better. Also, I need a very, very simple explanation of sugar spike and all that to help me in a concrete fashion to internalize all this information. I keep reading your book but still do not quite "get it." I can't be the only one. Thank you.

Starbucks, Dutch Bros, etc… all of these places are so harmful to everyone’s health, especially young people who are addicted to these places on a daily basis 😔

You've enlightened my thoughts and concerns about sugar thank you for your presentation. My wife is a professor at the University of Nebraska medical center and my daughter is a chiropractor in Lincoln she also has a RN degree and working on an NP degree. So I have people all around me telling me how to eat but I am very grateful for that. Again thank you

I dropped meat and dairy from my diet, and realised that for the first time I could finally rid myself of Metformin (after the doc had me start taking it due to insulin resistance in my mid 20's). Now I eat whole foods, plant based, but I stopped worrying about sugar as the healthy diet had me running 50km a week.
If anything, remove the fat from the diet. From my experience, the body can't process blood glucose when mixed with fat at the same time.

    Hi team Sherzai,
    thank you for the video.
My question is: how I can minimize the damage from the night shifts, is there a doable solution or changing my job is the only solution?
Your book is already on the way to me :)

Can Alzheimer's and dementia be reversed? By getting rid of sugar and drinking lots of water? What about GMO's? Does this play a role in these diseases?
