#1 Whitetail Habitat Improvement for your 2024 Deer Season

I’m often asked “If I could only do 1 thing to my property to make this season better then last what would you recommend that I do”…
It’s a very easy answer from me each year. Build better Habitat in an area that you can hunt the movement past the Down Wind Side!
In most cases this area is easiest near an already place food plot and or a feeder location. Placing a feeder at 100 yards in front of your location per your access and hunting already correct bedding or building better habitat between your stand and that feeder will create a Down Wind line of travel for cruising Bucks this fall.
There are so so so many things and variable that make this location perfect but all in all the easiest, fastest most effective way to better your odds this year and to place habitat in the correct location and hunt the Down Wind side of that area. You must be able to access and exit this location undetected so be sure to focus on your access plan before starting this improvement but it can be the most effective improvement that folks have ever built and doesn’t take much effort to get the odds in your favor. Build an area that the Cruising Whitetail Buck has to scent check on the same wind that your able to hunt him on.
