    Nice neighborhood with lovely homes. It seems pretty quiet and peaceful as well. I didn't hear background noise?

      Yeah it's the middle of the day. I think most people are at work.

    Thank you, I enjoy your videos! Do you have a video on Ajijic MX? folks seem to like that part of MX.

    • @aginggrateful

      No, we have never been to Ajijic. I heard that it's really nice though.

      @@aginggrateful Ajijic is just ok. Nothing special except it's located on the largest lake in Mexico with many Gringos residents.

    Thank you! I love your walking videos. The homes are beautiful. I notice most of them have bars on the windows. Is that the norm in SMA? Is it more preventive than the fact that you should be concerned about break-ins?

    • @aginggrateful

      The bars on the windows are normal for Mexico. It's nothing to be concerned about. It took us some time to get use to that.

      Decorative rod iron bars is both for security and also a component of traditional Mexican architecture dating back to the Spanish colonial era.

    These are beautiful! Where does the water go if there is heavy rain/flooding (no sewers)?

    • @aginggrateful
      @aginggrateful  4 місяці тому

      There are manholes in the middle of the streets for the sewage.

      @@aginggrateful yes that means y’all can flush toilets (Amen) but I was asking about storm drains

      Everything just runs down hill. Don't live in the houses at the bottom of the hills.. LOL

    Any idea on home prices? I was in San Miguel in April of this year year and took a look at the homes for sale in jardines de Allende. Most expensive home is $147,000 usd. You should do a video on the at. It’s close to La luciérnaga mall.

    • @aginggrateful
      @aginggrateful  4 місяці тому

      @@borimex5844 The prices range of course depending on where you are in San Miguel. Bobbi’s channel, @thepreparedagent will be diving into home prices here in SMA.
