I sometimes watch Garden Answer. I used to watch it more than I do now. They have a lot of lovely structures including a very fancy and very expensive greenhouse built by a company called Hartley. Their greenhouses are so expensive that they don't put the price on their website just their phone number to call and find out. This is not to hate on them or anything, because I am glad that God is blessing them. But the truth is that your greenhouse is so incredibly beautiful. It shows your magnificent creativity and artistry. I am bowled over by your ability to find things for free and/or to receive them from others like the double doors in the back and the bricks in the flooring. And you did it all for less that $800! If your greenhouse and the far more expensive one were in a contest, and I were the judge; I would most definitely give the blue ribbon to yours. Hands down.
Awesome job taking us along on your journey from concept to completion. The saying “one man’s junk is another man’s treasure” is definitely apparent with the completion of your greenhouse. Who would have thought that a door found on the side of the road would be the entrance to your fabulous greenhouse. I actually believe that you have to have a vision….(when you think to yourself how can I bring (repurpose) something back to life). The two of you have that GIFT and the ability to bring it all together……not being satisfied until all of the pieces come together even if a redo (the flooring) is in order. Absolutely love your greenhouse and reutilizing old windows that gives it a vintage charm. The only concern I would have is the foundation in that having external garden space so close is that wet soil will eventually start to rot the wood. I experienced this a couple different times even after using treated lumber for a base. It’s best to keep the surrounding area as dry as possible and directing water away. Thank you for sharing all of your hard work. It shows you have true passion for what you do. 😊

What a cute greenhouse. This is roughly what I'm thinking of building on my deck. Right now mine is 6'x6', made out of 1.5" PVC pipe, walls of clear-ish shower curtains and a 20mil clear PVC tarp for a roof. It has stood up to 2 VT winters but it's time for something prettier and a little bigger.

I found your channel yesterday and while I was watching & hearing you talk about Thomas, I wanted to hunt down a video with the both of you in it, to see how you worked together. You guys have so much love & concern for each other that I wasn't surprised to see that you could slay goliath if you wanted. LOL .I LOVE that green house! I found your channel yesterday and while I was watching & hearing you talk about Thomas, I wanted to hunt down a video with the both of you in it, to see how you worked together. You guys have so much love & concern for each other that I wasn't surprised to see that you could slay goliath if you wanted. LOL .I LOVE that green house! I subscribed to your channel & am enjoying going through all the videos, if for nothing more than to hear the laughter & see all the smiles. Of course, I am watching because i feel a definite connection , love the positivity and I also do gardening.1 of my sons made me 2 awesome raised boxes & I put them on wheels so that I can move them if need be. I believe they are 4x4 and are heavy.. I am trying to figure out what I want to go where :-) Im in AZ and the options are endless. lol. Anyway, enough rambling..
