Good to see you back Andy, really enjoy your videos they help me lots, you always go the extra mile for us guys. Just look after yourself and take your time
The amount of decals scares me....kudos to academy for making the weaponry slide molded , I can't imagine spending hours cutting and sanding rocket parts
Nice one Andy I hadn't even heard about this one coming out :) You beat me to it...……...again. Did you say figures!!!!!!! LOL Was so hoping that there would be figures in the Heli but Live Resin pilots look pretty amazing, hopefully they will fit.
hello Andy, after 30 years from my last Revell kit, i am going back after my son just gave me a Tamiya kit for BD, like to say love your channel, very informative. I also like to check with you if you sell online, i am looking to get some tamiya paint and some other stuff, thanks again.
Hey Andy. Just a quick question for you. Remenber the R2D2 from DeAgostini ModelSpace that you were building?? You did promised us more videos of that build, but when do they come?? Just love your videos.
Question, this is unrelated to this video but you covered it before. I'm doing German armor and the dark yellow seems to have issues covering over the shadow coat. Is this common?
Hi Andy, what airbrush do you recommend for an absolute beginner on a tight budget? Anything is better than nothing as atm I only use paintbrushes and it isnt ideal!
First let me start by saying I love your videos. My only "concern" is the audio. Maybe it is just me but I find the audio levels during the intro section to be quite a bit lower than the rest. I usually have to turn up my volume for the intro then back down for the main video. I suspect it may have to do with mic placement? Again, Ii really do love the videos and look forward to each one.
Hey Sndy I'm more into car kits but would like to try a tank kit any recommendations on a kit for as first time tank builder???? Than in s for all you informative videos...
Hi Andy I saw your video of the panther Sherman 1946 tanks and wonders if you could make something like that but with a panther turret on a t-34. I would love to see you do it. 🙏!!
How does the cockpit detail look? Couldn’t tell from the video. My nephew is a new Marine pilot and he has been assigned to fly these. I would like to build one because of it.
So Academy put all that effort into the Cobra, and then slammed on the brakes when it came to the canopy masks - we have to basically be able to steadily cut our own? Can't be done for me; I'm about as steady as the Waco Kid these days. I'd have to hope for someone else to make pre-cut masks before getting this kit, which had me drooling up to that point.
@@tycleverly4816 Really? Name calling? In my original post I simply commented that Andy's intro volume seemed low. After his introduction and the animated introduction the audio level seemed "normal". Emgzz started he "fixed it" . Clicking on his supplied link skips Andy's introduction. Please explain how else one is supposed to interpret that? And what does Andy getting cut off mid word have to do with volume levels? I MUST be the idiot here as I do not see your point at all. A slight error in video editing is not, at least to me, the same as low volume levels. I posted in hopes Andy would read my post and if the issue is on his end, be able to correct it and make his videos just that much better. I am not calling anyone names or trying to ridicule them. Andy puts a lot of work into his videos for our pleasure. If I can assist him in making even better videos by offering constructive criticism I will.
A normal mould is two pieces, a top and a bottom piece, they are pressure held together and hot melted plastic is forced in under high pressure. A slide mould has multiple pieces, say four that fit together, some of those mould pieces have like a piston built in, the piston is forced into the mould prior to the plastic being injected, after a few seconds, the pistons are pulled back out and the moulds are cracked open releasing the sprue, usually gun barrels use slide moulding, but things like interior details can be added using slide moulding.
@@subliminalstyrene811 thanks for the info! I guess it's probably a more intricate/expensive process for the producer, hence I can see why plain ole 2-piece injection makes the cheapest models passing on the extra detailing seam cleanup to the modeler :)
I would have to check with one of my crew cheif buddies but I believe it is a squadron logo. for the squadron decals hmlat-303 you would use the spartin helmet and then the QT for the tail
Good to see you back Andy, really enjoy your videos they help me lots, you always go the extra mile for us guys. Just look after yourself and take your time
Nice reviews Andy, Awesome Slidemolding of parts, I'm Impressed. Glad Yer Back Andy and God Bless All

The amount of decals scares me....kudos to academy for making the weaponry slide molded , I can't imagine spending hours cutting and sanding rocket parts
Thank you for another great video:)
Thank you Andy. Looks like a awesome helicopter :)
I remember not long ago you were going for 100k subs. Now you are up to 130k already!
cool, now time to get building!!
Nice kits!
really nice review on terrific aircraft. and cool change of background music. ;-)
Love the 'Flying Saucer' It could be a great display with some 50's tanks like the Invaded by Mars movie made during the 50's.

The Cobra looks like a fantastic kit. Would be awesome to see you build it.

Hey Andy.
Just a quick question for you.
Remenber the R2D2 from DeAgostini ModelSpace that you were building??
You did promised us more videos of that build, but when do they come??
Just love your videos.
I really wish that there was more 1/35 aircraft but whatever I'll take it
Question, this is unrelated to this video but you covered it before. I'm doing German armor and the dark yellow seems to have issues covering over the shadow coat. Is this common?
I wish that academy would put cartograph decals in ALL of their kits!
Hi Andy, what airbrush do you recommend for an absolute beginner on a tight budget? Anything is better than nothing as atm I only use paintbrushes and it isnt ideal!
Are you able to chip decals the way you can chip paint?
Let us know when you're going to build that Cobra, that looks great. I'd love to see that.
One Nice modelkits like it Andy love your channel grt from holland Ninja Jedi Master.

Andy, would you know of anyone who makes a model kit for the M50 Otos?
Do you any idea on when kittyhawk 1:32 mirage 2000 is coming out thanks
Diorama figures! Really! I look forward to that......cos I'm not very good at them either. Figures are a separate branch of modelling. Cheers
I wish you would have given an expected due date and MSRP on the AH-1
That Cobra looks great, hope they make a 1/35 Huey too.
SoupFork a D/H is so desperately needed, the Panda/Dragon is just horrible. As long as they don't charge $100 for the damn thing either.
Does the 35th scale cobra comes with a crew or do I need to get a after market crew?
Great revenues!
do a vid on figure painting
How does the cockpit detail look? Couldn’t tell from the video. My nephew is a new Marine pilot and he has been assigned to fly these. I would like to build one because of it.
Was that another delivery right at the end?
Have anyone built the kittyhawk Viper? Any thoughts on it?
Academy I Love you!!! 1\35 !!!!!!!
when does that academy ah-1z go on general release to the public?
Please build the b17 flying fortress that would be awesome
Please do a KV2!
When are you going to start building this?

Agreed. Strange how they went so far with everything else and then didn't die cut the canopy masks!
This isn't a rebox of the shiittyhawk kit is it?
Never seen a UFO Model Kit before.
Andy I love your vids but have you ever thought of doing Gundum kits and paint them WW2
Its now called the AH-1Z Viper and the UH-1Y is now called the Venom
If you want to make it the most accurate for hmlat-303 use the QT decals SN SE and SM do not belong on the the helicopter for hmlat-303
Now all Academy needs to release is the UH-1Y Yankee to match the same scale.
Can someone please explain in simple terms what slide moulding is?
Why are airplanes done in 1/32 scale and ground armor in 1/35?
That is a mystery to me too.
You can thank tamiya for the 1/35 armor trend. Monogram had 1/32 armor kits way back.
You want detail bulid the trumpeter 116 panther
I've built one lm thinking about another
It's very frustrating. ..
3rd for Kylie Minogue
2:10 - ...arted
Here, I fixed it for you :)
Don't get it 😂
@@andrejpanic9053 watch just before the intro
@@andrejpanic9053 I believe emgzz is suggesting to just skip the introduction.
addicts hes not trying to skip it at all lmao idiot. Andy said let's get star- then the intro started. Watch the video

How much is that helicopter?
I kept wondering through the whole video just how slide molding is done? anyone know how those techniques?

Release date anyone?
Why does the cover art for the cobra have both "marine" and the German emblem?
I was wondering same thing
I would have to check with one of my crew cheif buddies but I believe it is a squadron logo. for the squadron decals hmlat-303 you would use the spartin helmet and then the QT for the tail
Update the German cross is part of HMLA-169's squadron patch so it doesn't belong with these decals
while i like their kit, i just really hate their plastic , really fragile. I wonder does it improve now .
Fala muito!
