Got a 70s vibe to me. Put on my bell bottoms put the Doobie Brothers takin it to the street on the cassette...take a cruise down route 66 and honk and wave as I cruise through Miami Oklahoma...great video...

Beautiful Coach. Upgrading the TVs, putting LED headlights in etc. awesome value especially if one can get it for $100,000

Nice looking coach. Up to date paint and interior colors (just some material replacement to make it look more modern). Just a few small updates like the headlights and some other odds and ends will make it perfect.
Cool coach, I'm like you, I think more companies should use the MCI buses as a conversion platform, and this one with a rear steer tag axle, how cool is that? I have seen many nice older conversions on the MCI buses, and when taken care of, can last a lifetime.

Only one basement storage pass thru on a 45' coach? Nuts. Showing its age, the toilet is out in the open. Needs a lot of updates.
The DL3 platform from MCI is a tank. Just as much bus as a comparable Prevost of the same year for better money, too. Be warned though: if MCI ever decides to offer a conversion shell for the 2017-present J4500 and keeps the sleek appearance without modifying the roofline......hang it up Prevost cuz they will come for that crown.

Your best guess ish, how much do you think it would cost to update this bus? Take out All the carpet, all the ceiling suede, make the dinette a 'c' shaped booth etc....
For real... take out all carpets and give me foors. also change them cabinet knobs. LOL too old fashioned. And remove suede ceilings and mirros from behind kitchen sink. What were they thinking when they installed mirrors behind kitchen sink.

Same base as our home, great bus.
I probably was the one that wired up the rear end of this bus in the 90's. It would have left MCI in Pembina ND, hollow on the inside, going to a custom coach shop.
Always loved the look of the D series. Wonder how Andrew's 6'2" frame navigated inside though. Great price.

MCI with Detroit engines make better buses due to both companies history of being part of the GM family before becoming an independent company and part of Diamler respectively. MCI largest customers are Greyhound and Peter Pan Bus Lines; huge in the Northeast. If MCI entered the bus conversion business, watch out Prevost and Newell.
Lol gimme a fat sack of doobies, some cheap beer and maybe some other party favors and this would make a fantastic party bus for friends and family

why would anyone in their right mind buy this 1997 when you can get a 2017 FLEETWOOD DIESEL PACE ARROW LXE 1.5 BATH for the same price???? the fleetwood has 3 slides to boot!
