Narrated by Sayyedena Burayda R.A. A companion entered the majestic presence and company of Rasoolallah ﷺ and he was wearing a ring made from iron. Rasoolallah ﷺ said: why do I find the ornaments of hellfire on you? The companion immediately took of his ring and asked: Ya Rasoolallah ﷺ , what should I where a ring of? The Beloved ﷺ replied: wear a ring of silver, less than one mishkaal.

The ref of the Alim u mention can u give ref from usooli aspect coz the rantional could be used against anything even a good car.

There is a limited amount of Silver you can wear.
It should be less than one mithqaal ,which is around 4.86grams.
Meaning weight of silver should be less than 4.86grams.
Please conduct your own further research

As much as I know it is not allowed to wear any jewelery other then ring for men. The explanation is that chains, bracelets etc. are jewelery for women. So if a man wears them it is an imitation of the woman. And Allah knows best

Now Gold is more expensive then Platinum an ounce of platinum cost $850 and an ounce of Gold costs $1688 as right now currently July 21st 2022 / 3:09AM Eastern time.
And people say platinum is the most valuable but ig gold is more popular

Platinum is not halal for man obviously. Many mufti issued fatwa and consider it is haram. Some say it is like white Gold so haram. A few mullah say it is makrooh. The vast majority of Islamic scholar consider only silver is halal for man in a condition it should not exceed 3.9 to 4.5 gram.
Brother platinum is not a type of gold it is another element of periodic table

Try to understand it with an example most of the scholar say that alcoholic perfumes and hand sanitizers are prohibited because sharab is najis but reality is that the alcohol used in these products is methyl alcohol which can't be used as a drink because it is a toxic chemical the alcohol used in drinks is ethyl alcohol not methyl alcohol. Case of platinum is just similar to this scholars consider it gold but it is not gold

@@lyndonearlington5986 diamonds are gemstones so yes it is allowed and so is sapphire. Qur'an only mentions gold and silk to be haram for men. If it is feminine jewelry that's also not allowed for men as hadith mentions not to imitate women.
Other than that all jewelry is allowed

Islamically it is better not to be rich but if you want to have more expensive jewelry, you can, as long as you are not arrogant.
Platinum is more unique, and silver is good for the body, so it depends

As you said "use some critical thinking", let me share some of my thinking with you. It's completely fine if you agree or disagree with it, just don't be triggered and fix your thinking in a single point of view.
Gold(Au) is a metal. It is a good conductor of heat and electricity. Researchers tested how gold affects our body and i quote " we also noted that gold particles can penetrate sperm cells,which could result in fragmentation. The possible spermatotoxicity of gold in industrial use has been reported elsewhere as a cause of male STERILITY and possibly of EPIDIDYMITIS" - Comparative toxicological evaluation of domestic golden alloy for soldering [Stomatologiia(Mosk),86(2007),pp.64-67]
So my brother my conclusion is that, the effect gold, has on male sperm is harmful and safe for women. likewise a metal like platinum doesn’t have any harmful side-effect for male so it’s usable. It's my opinion though if you have more research on this topics please share them with me, i would love to read them.
May Allah guide us to the right path.

Its just your subjective opinion that gold is prohibited for men because it is valuable. Problem with your opinion is if that was the case it would have been prohibited for both men and women.
