The issue I have trying to find basic white tees and tanks is most are too thin to have that delicate look without being sheer even with a nude bra. I know the sheer look is in but I think a lot of it being pushed is because brands can get away with cheaper textiles. I’m Gen X so it’s very interesting to watch what your generation picks up on from my youth. I still wear 90s but more the minimal chic look mixed into other styles because it’s more sophisticated. When I was of the age, I dressed more grunge/hipster. You seem to love the more relaxed vibes that I never paid much attention to because they probably seemed “sloppy” or “basic” to me. But your perspective is showing me the beauty in those looks. Still not for me, but I get it now. I like seeing another perspective.
I loved this video and would absolutely love a monthly Pinterest update. I agree the pieces that always feel impossible to find are the classic basics. I can sometimes find pieces on Vinted but it’s so hard to predict how they’ll fit on you (even if you ask for measurements), and a lot of the charm is how they fit. Does anyone know what brands Jennifer Anniston would have been wearing back in her Friends days? I feel like it could help the Vinted/ebay searches. Anyway, thanks for sharing :)
Just found you a couple months ago and even tho our style isn't completely aligned I find your videos very inspiring. Commenting as a way to show support, love it keep up the good work. Thanks for being real.
i have been collecting my deep brown wardrobe basics for 3 years now, and now that I’ve nearly completed them, brown is circling into style. i just need people to see my brown monochrome and not see me as a trend chaser 😭 i’m also a silver jewelry girl. i just need people to understand that i have sustainably curated my wardrobe, because the thought and intention is important to me
Okay back here because I was browsing Gimaguas this evening and found a shirt that's basically the same as the pink hankerchief bottom you showed. It's called the "Saona t-shirt." They also have one called "Etoile," which is kind of along the same lines. Anyway, it's not nearly as satisfying as thrifting, but it's fun to find small brands with cute styles, too. :) Just thought I'd share in case anyone here wants something like that.
Are you living in Australia? I saw your insta and I thought the Nature on your pictures looks so different to here… and it seems to be very warm on the pictures… I like to see people from different countrys because they show interesting fashion differences and that is really inspireing. Sorry for my bad English. Hope you understand me 😂
@@__phoebe.taylor ah ok. That was a really a Long Time. I have seen you wear often summer wardrobe. I really like the style but I did not see winter outfits. So I thought you live in a different climate…
