I don't really blame her, I wouldn't want to work with my father's killer accidental or not, besides, even though it would've been smart to keep them on her side ACME doesn't really stand a chance against VILE since they have weapons and they have lame gas guns. She was hurt from finding out so the wound was still fresh and of course she was mad like a normal human. A mastermind that never lets her emotions get in the way and always has the best plan would get boring fast.

Working with ACME wouldn't allow her to do what she does, it would have been like putting a restriction on all of her movements. Not only that, she would have had to give up her team, or worse not getting to a location as fast as she does to stop VILE. Even if she did join ACME, she would have deviated from them to learn more about her mother. I'm not going to say making two enemies are better, but what were they before?

As for intel, I think it would have hurt Carmen, indirectly. Because what will her role be? Finally, who benefits from being allies, Carmen can give intel, in exchange for what? What could ACME offer that'll be worth something to Carmen?
I really hope the chief eventually finds out about the story of her dad. I’m just curious to see how the woman would react to realizing she killed her new enemy’s father.
I hope my theories about Julia being a double agent for Carmen's team and the one who meet with her will be Zack. Some of their meetings will be like this, but Zack will be disguise as a duke and he will wearing a black coat (similar with Carmen's coat) and a black hat. Zack will have an England accent. Chase will have the suspicious about Julia works with Carmen, so he follow her. When he will see with Zack, Chase will think Carmen where that because she doesn't want to be recognized.

Shadowsan and Player will see his true self: very protective, intelligent and very distrustful in other people. I think this was a little out of character for Carmen. I understand why her and ACME can't be working together but it seems like the writers stretched things a little too far.

So instead of giving Vile another enemy Carmen decided it was better to have 2 secret organizations out to get her
