The fact that you started out and played in woah! mode is insane. This game is already incredibly hard until you understand the perfect block mechanics and I couldn't even imagine playing for the first time on hard difficulty. As soon as you attacked that first red ant at the start and died in 2 hits i was super concerned that it would be infinitely too hard
As a Grounded player for more than a year, I see that you are very good and you progressed quite well in the game, and you also learned to parry, which may be the most important mechanic in the game.

Just discovered the channel, and I wanted to say thanks for that 100 days in Grounded. The hours flew by and I discovered alongside you this game and adventure and it was awesome ! The fun you seem to be having is contagious and I can't wait to watch the 200 days tomorrow ! Thanks, really, your mix of in-the-moment commentary and after commentary is a really nice style to listen to ! My only criticism would be that you often spoil the outcome of fights or discovery some times before they happen, so we don't get to have as much suspens as we could have, but that's okay ! ^^ Love, keep on doing, as long as you have the drive, and the child-like mind of discovery and fun, nothing will stop you on youtube, your style is really nice ! Ps: Looking at the list of games you played, maybe try to mix it up a little sometimes ? You could burn a bit by always going for the survival-let-me-punch-that-tree kind of games always, give yourself some time to breath =)
Comments like these I truly enjoy! It gives me different perspectives every week and how I could change or make something better. It's great to know you've enjoyed the way I styled my content and with the in-game voice stuff! I will also try to pace it better and leave the mystery while playing the game over telling you about it through the story. On one hand, I think your style is better in a game you can run pretty much freely, constricting you to a good but static game might be an issue (Was thinking about games like X-COM and such, where you can still name your characters and give them backstories and styles, but maybe too heavy on the tactics), great games but I think you need to be able to express some kind of creativity and story-telling so the games too strategy-oriented might not be the right answer. Horror games are obviously an easy answer, the problem being pretty much all of youtube is doing the same thing... If I had to sum it up, I think your style is at its best when: - You don't already know the game and the meta (You are the type of youtuber we like to discover with, not see an expert playthrought from) - Games where some form of expression is possible (Having a pet, naming things, building something unique, making choices, etc etc...) - Games with some narrative but not corridors-like (Thinking about games like FF and such, with great story but inexistent player agency) - Don't Starve, And If you already know it, one of the DLC you maybe didn't play as they change the game tremendously ? - Darkest Dungeon 1 & 2 (Would require good editing to not get tedious... so pretty much an idea for a video or two but don't know if the format would work with more) - The next zelda coming soon (Would work 100% with your style I think) - Mount & Blade: Bannerlord (Could work, you choose whatever you want to do and the story writes itself so you could set fun or good goals and there is a day counter so yeah) - Yes, Your Grace (Would be a fun one, lot of comedic potential, pretty short) - The Escapist 1 Or 2 (Fun games with lot of choices, would probably work with your style) - Oxygen Not Included (Gestion games but with good edits and funny choices, could maybe work ?) - Little Devil Inside (If it ever comes out) - The Eternal Cylinder - V Rising (Really up your alley I think) - The Entropy Centre (Portal-Like game), now that I think about it, games like Portal seem to suit you as well. - Outer Wilds (Would be quite the adventure if don't already know it) Will give more if I think about anything else. Tried to find a varied list of possible ideas, to see if anything sticks. Basically I think you're at your best when games mix discovery with choices in some capacity. Survival, comedy, building, and enough narration doesn't hurt =) Hope it gives you some idea, always available if you want more or have constructive critictisms to give regarding my list if you want to add anything to point me towards building a better suited list for you =) Take care ! Ps: On every video I watch of you, you start by summarizing what's going to happen, spoiling major points. If you want to keep doing that, could you maybe add a timestamp to skip to for those who want to keep the surprises in full ? That would be a good compromise I think ?

The amount of game play you did in 100 days is really something. I know plenty of people, my self included don't get that far unless I just rush. But for your first play through you did good. Can't wait for the 200 day vid!

This was a great totally got me hooked for the duration.. definitely wanna see more not sure if you'll need to restart for 1.1 which is tomorrow I think!? if so I'd watch you start over, this new update is massive with so many new features.. I'm so excited

Ps: Looking at the list of games you played, maybe try to mix it up a little sometimes ? You could burn a bit by always going for the survival-let-me-punch-that-tree kind of games always, give yourself some time to breath =)

It's quite the predicament. On one hand, I think your style is better in a game you can run pretty much freely, constricting you to a good but static game might be an issue (Was thinking about games like X-COM and such, where you can still name your characters and give them backstories and styles, but maybe too heavy on the tactics), great games but I think you need to be able to express some kind of creativity and story-telling so the games too strategy-oriented might not be the right answer.
Horror games are obviously an easy answer, the problem being pretty much all of youtube is doing the same thing...
If I had to sum it up, I think your style is at its best when:
- You don't already know the game and the meta (You are the type of youtuber we like to discover with, not see an expert playthrought from)
- Games where some form of expression is possible (Having a pet, naming things, building something unique, making choices, etc etc...)
- Games with some narrative but not corridors-like (Thinking about games like FF and such, with great story but inexistent player agency)
- Don't Starve, And If you already know it, one of the DLC you maybe didn't play as they change the game tremendously ?
- Darkest Dungeon 1 & 2 (Would require good editing to not get tedious... so pretty much an idea for a video or two but don't know if the format would work with more)
- The next zelda coming soon (Would work 100% with your style I think)
- Mount & Blade: Bannerlord (Could work, you choose whatever you want to do and the story writes itself so you could set fun or good goals and there is a day counter so yeah)
- Yes, Your Grace (Would be a fun one, lot of comedic potential, pretty short)
- The Escapist 1 Or 2 (Fun games with lot of choices, would probably work with your style)
- Oxygen Not Included (Gestion games but with good edits and funny choices, could maybe work ?)
- Little Devil Inside (If it ever comes out)
- The Eternal Cylinder
- V Rising (Really up your alley I think)
- The Entropy Centre (Portal-Like game), now that I think about it, games like Portal seem to suit you as well.
- Outer Wilds (Would be quite the adventure if don't already know it)
Will give more if I think about anything else. Tried to find a varied list of possible ideas, to see if anything sticks.
Basically I think you're at your best when games mix discovery with choices in some capacity. Survival, comedy, building, and enough narration doesn't hurt =)
Hope it gives you some idea, always available if you want more or have constructive critictisms to give regarding my list if you want to add anything to point me towards building a better suited list for you =)

Ps: On every video I watch of you, you start by summarizing what's going to happen, spoiling major points. If you want to keep doing that, could you maybe add a timestamp to skip to for those who want to keep the surprises in full ? That would be a good compromise I think ?

Just finished the video, and I freaking LOVED IT!!!! I literally screamed when I saw the length of the gameplay and grounded, love that game so much!! CAN'T WAIT FOR 200 DAYS!!

Definitely have another 100 days planned, 200 if there really is THAT much content, but I definitely want to finish the story, fight all the bosses in the game now and all end-game items I can get. Possibly explore and unlock/get all chests!

I'm not Arachnophobe but that Spidercave scene made me shiver. I can't imagine someone that afraid of spiders meeting first time with a wolfspider at night.
