Many medications that are prescribed by a doctor for skin conditions have a petroleum base. A doctor wouldn’t prescribe them so much if they were not very safe.
In galen lab one of our professor ate a smal scoop just to prove a point you could even eat a small amount of vaseline despite the fact it is. Derived from petrolium. 😅
No no no. Petrolatum (Vaseline) is one of the safest ingredients you can apply to skin. It does not contain any harmful compounds after triple purification. It doesn’t even absorb into skin. It’s been used for 100+ years with a VAST safety profile. Lastly, it’s used as a negative control in dermatology studies. It’s one of the safest and inert ingredients one can use.
Real organic Shea butter is better for the skin health, but it can be pricey, and isn't usually sold in stores.. Petroleum ( Vaseline) is cheaper for those who cannot afford the healthiest options, but it still geothermal job done
I'm sure its got its uses such as putting a bareer between environment and skin.. however I prefer using more nourishing and breathable skin ingredients
Hope your video reaches a lot of people, the fearmongering is getting ridiculous
it’s good for the skin. vaseline (petroleum jelly) is used on burn patients. depending on the degree of the burn.

"They would not recommend to you if it was unsafe." Love your innocence and trust in doctors.

This girl is missing out on a good thing, so affordable in a pinch, I personally find it helpful in minor wound care
But pseudoscience is so much more DRAMATIC. If a thing sounds like another thing, they must be the same 🙃
