    Hi George,
    Is the lens cover anti-fog?
    What is the default frame rate?
    -Is variable fps an option?
    Does the camera have optical or digital zoom?
    Is there a feature in a multiple cameras system that does a hand-off from camera to camera as an intruder walks around my business?

    Looking for some really good home security solutions and I just stumbled onto your channel. This company seems like a really good solution for the camera side of things. What about the other stuff though? Door sensors, co2 and smoke detectors, doorbells, etc.. Does this company do those things as well and if not what would be your recommendation!?

    Hello sir, I have a quick question. I want to get a few security cameras set up at my property for multi purposes. One being capturing the views in the front and back of my property. I like the idea of time lapse and or tracking the sunsets and sunrises over a year period as well as the foliage and whatnot. I always thought it'd be cool to make one of those flip books that goes through the seasons of the view. What cameras have the most clear resolution for capturing landscapes. I think I need a four Channel. Let me know your thoughts, thanks

    Great Video! The format and organization of the video was very easy to follow. Question: will the ALI-PT50/80-LUAIS cameras send the video they capture to a standard NAS....or other branded NVR? Thanks,

What camera system would you recommend. These seem great but can they be installed on the back boxes ? The reason for wanting to use the back boxes I dont want to make more holes in the masonry.

    Question: I’m new to security camera installing and people in my hometown want me to start up a business doing it. As someone like yourself that has their own security camera business, For POE cams, do you have a subscription setup for customers or is it just a one time payment for supplies and labor? Do you charge by the hour or by number of cams they request? Or how do you do booking and charging people fairly? Trying to figure that out for myself

Also, if I use a power line adapter for my internet router but all the cameras are plugged into the nvr, if the internet goes out my nvr still records everything but I just can’t remotely see footage on my phone? The NVR will still record & function with no internet, you just won’t be able to see the system remotely. The NVR has a hard drive, if the internet goes out, it’s still recording to that hard drive. You can go up to 12TB. You can either update the system over the internet or you can physically download the update to an external storage device & do it that way.

    • @GeorgeLangabeer
      @GeorgeLangabeer  24 дні тому +1

      It’s a more secure way to see your cameras remotely. Some brands use what’s called “port forwarding” and that method is becoming obsolete because it’s not as secure. Port forwarding uses your router’s settings & because of that it opens you up to vulnerabilities. Peer to peer bypasses your router settings and gives you a more locked down connection.

      @@GeorgeLangabeer I have been using them for years and they keep dopiing off my network. Im a systems engineer and VERY computer literate. Their support is horrible and, their newer cameras will "brick" if you change the port to 443, even though I have been using them for years. Need to find a new brand.

      Using a peer to peer connection (like Alibi does) eliminates most of those issues.

      @@GeorgeLangabeer I wired the cameras DIRECTLY and they still do it. The cameras are shit. Im in the process of replacing all of them now and the new ones I am using are 10x better.
