I love d'Annam's Vietnamese Coffee. It's a blast of strong freshly-brewed coffee, with a dash of sweetness. It got me interested in niche fragrances, after basically just wearing any cologne I happened to get as a holiday gift; making a random purchase on the spot at a store; or thinking solely of colognes in terms of what was around when I was growing up (so, Brut; Old Spice; and, if you were going to "break the bank," Drakkar Noir). Vietnamese Coffee got me interested in new ways to think of perfumes and colognes, and I've been looking into, and buying, them ever since.
Since you are a cardamon lover I would like to throw in xerjof golden dallah from the coffee break series. This one is so addicting as well. I have a sample of Vietnamese coffee. I like it but it doesn’t have that sweetness from vanilla. I think I may layer this with Burberry goddess and see how I feel. If anyone has recommendations of coffee and vanilla (but a vanilla like in goddess) please 🙏🏽 share!
I really want to add Golden Dallah to my collection, it is so beautiful. Also, that sounds like a great layering combination. I will try it when I am back from my holiday

I definitely hear a lot of good things about d’Annam! I also don’t drink milk for ethical reasons, and want to try Vietnamese coffee! I know condensed milk made from coconut exists, so I’m sure there are non dairy options, even though it won’t be perfectly authentic. I’m sure there are lactose intolerant people in Vietnam, so there must be an option :)
Yes, good point. You can get vegan cream so I am sure there is a way of getting a similar taste. I am in Tokyo at the moment and finding lots of milk alternatives here
