I have a 2011 6.2 have ton 4x4 automatic and id like to find someone to do a 5 or 6 speed swap and a few other upgrades any advice or leads would be much appreciated im located mid michigan. Thanks
Did you swap the 6.0 in or the trans? If you swapped the motor in, did you get the right pilot bearing? And the driveshaft isn’t supposed to be butted to transmission and rear differential.
It takes some work and is a pain but it can be done. I have 05 single cab lq4 all original electronics work great. Reach out and we can go over how to do it

Could you help me out just did a ls swap on a Sonoma gen3 5.3 with nv3500 truck Norris cam and I’m having an issue with it shutting off when I stop or slow down I have hp tuners but this is all new to me
I have a 2005 V6 5-speed. I want to put the correct V8 in it, but keep the 5-speed manual. I don't care about performance mods, just a stock engine. How hard is the swap? I have the skills, I just don't know what parts I would need.
So from my understanding all you would need is a v8 manual engine harrness and pcm then the motor ofc and if u follow the main branch of the engine harrness it will go under the fuse box and jt will unbolt so then all u need to do is remove all that and reinstall fhe new stuff
Dude what clutch are you using?? Have you had to replace it yet and how much hp before it slips? I have a 6.0 nv3500 and have tried other clutches including southbend 500hp clutch and none of them last as long as the stock clutch. My truck is a 2006 2500hd so I still tow with it maybe that’s why the other clutches don’t work because they aren’t meant for towing lol.
i have a hurst short thow shifter for the nv3500 if anyone wants it,super rare hard to get,brand new condition,i was going to use it in my 05 blazer but i swapped to a t56 6 speed,so if you like driving that you should drive my blazer,6.0 L96 with cam and supercharger,caltracs too much to list
@@michaelflowers9342 yea i never used it,but after reading on the website it says its for just a blazer or s10 and that it wont work on a silverado,what do you have,i mean im not sure whats difference with the nv3500 transmission between the two vehicles you know.

What’s the drive shaft measurements ?
I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado 6.0 with the NV3500 manual transmission but my drive shaft it’s a little bit short
Just measure it and go to a junk yard and find one that’s the same length, cheap and easy fix

That's my problem, I have a V6 5speed 2000. But I want the stock gauges to work. I want it to look factory

Hey I have a 6.0 5speed rcsb and I’ve had a problem running high rpm on the high, what rpm were you running at highway speeds?
Depends on what trans you got and your rear differential

2500 6.0 trucks came with it from the factory. Bolts right up
I have seen a couple single cab 2500 hd they are kinda rare

you can use hp tuners
Stand alone is easy to tune.
So the nv3500 will handle more than 300 lb ft of torque ?

I did a 5.3 swap and I can't get it to crank
I think you need an ecu flash to reset the ignition
i swapped and nv3500 went out soon after. i just copped a nv4500
Check pins on the pcm. Make sure you have power to the starter and check fuse block. and check vats if you have ho tuners
