  • Quick walkthrough of the steps taken to LS swap my '95 chevy 1500. This truck was a 4.3 v6 with nv3500 5-speed. We replaced the 4.3 with a 5.3 out of a 2001 Tahoe and reused the stock 5 speed. Comment with any questions and I will do my best to try and answer them.

Since you made this video about a year ago, can you give us an update on how the vehicle is doing and whether you use it as a daily driver? And since the build, is there anything you would change if you were to do it all over again. Great work! Thanks again.

The radiator is from a obs C3500 heavy duty pickup truck easily found at an U pull it junkyard. Even if you don’t want a used radiator you can at least get the stock radiator mount brackets from the junkyard. But I’d just look for a 1995 Chevy C3500 radiator to buy a new one.
