It is my personal belief that Joerg lives in an isolated forest island populated only by himself and an endless horde of zombies, and that he builds these slingshots to live another day, so that he may make more slingshots. He tells that us they are his hobby merely to protect us, as we are faint of heart and Joerg is strong. Any sound that my be mistaken as cars driving by in the background is actually a screaming mass of approaching zombies.
I did this once ("turbo video"), but that would force me to behave in my workshop :) Actually this weapon took about 12 hours of work, lots of filming and still 4 minutes long if you speed it up 180 times. You would not be able to see much at that speed.
Choson Ninja is throwing these nails 50' - 60' and sticking targets, so using these nails is a "no apologies necessary" situation. It's just the right thing to do. Thanks Joerg, great stuff as always.

Crossbow arrows are of similar construction as ordinary bow arrows, just shorter in length because of reduced power stroke." Time for some more lessons, history nut! :)

Yes, single shot models are more powerful. If I'd make this a single shot, maybe with a winch, then the power would be much, much higher. But reloading would take very long.
Selling stuff on ebay doesn't change anything. You still have to deal with the nasty issues of running a business. And a small business is the worst. All of the problems, but almost no money. No thanks.

This one is a lot more powerful. This one shoots way heavier ammo. This one has a trigger/lock system.
It is just another variation of the Chu-Ko-Nu.

put a strong grip under the pump part and pump with one hand from underneath, so as to not unbalance the pump from a side
