Thanks Casper, again! Very useful informations about this topic, a didn't know it, but i have my genos since a couple of months, so i will try out now! Have a nice evening! :)
Dear Casper, Thanks for this great tutorial. I find it useful for my needs, especially for changing tempo in real time. There are many songs that need real time tempo changes. A problem we face with Yamaha keyboards is lack of an easy way to change tempo in real time. In order to try to overcome this problem I usually assign different tempo values to sequential registrations in order to increase or decrease a tempo of a song during performance, and this is not a very efficient way to overcome that problem. I wish Genos upgraded software would include assigning foot-pedal tempo change. In addition, I wonder if there is a way to gradually increase/decrease tempo during Song Edit, and therefore recording the gradual tempo-change. It used to be so easy, 25 years ago with my PSR-510, where you could edit gradually a song-tempo after recording it. That way you just entered Record-Mode and simply recorded a tempo-change (turning the control-wheel) while playing-back the song. - Back then it was so easy. I wonder if there is such a way with current Yamaha arrangers.
I agree that the pace control on the Yamaha is poorly resolved. For starters it would be good to be able to define that the dial up wheel immediately controls the tempo. Now we have to activate it first on the + - Tempo buttons and only then use the dial up wheel. I remember, long ago Roland had the ability to accelerate the pace in percentages. That’s the best solution but we have to wait for Yamaha to come up with that. :-) On the Keyboard only solution to change the tempo is the one you use, via Registration. But using a computer in Style or Song you can enter tempo controls. If you put control in Style right after the Variation marker (say B), then only B will have a different tempo than the rest of the Style. By the way, the main tempo for Style is in the first bar, the so-called Header. If you want Style to have an acceleration during playback of that B variation, you can enter more controls for the tempo strokes that play in the B variation. You can do all this with MixMaster or XGWorks. ua-cam.com/video/AOS9wW_fFFQ/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/a0swPrVkayE/v-deo.html
Thanks Casper. I try to avoid connecting a computer to my keyboard because I try to enjoy it as it is. Such keyboard which such high price should include such simple controls. I hope Yamaha will implement it in their next software-update. You know, I guess that especially because of the chips-shortage in the market these days, Yamaha will prefer releasing/selling a software-update rather than selling a brand new Genos 2, so maybe a new software-update will some day include that tempo-change feature.
Bok Darko. Na žalost, ne znam tko prodaje ili proizvodi materijal tog tipa za Genosa. Sve ono što se vrti među glazbenicima je hrpetina ritmova od kojih nije iskoristivo 2%.
Activate subtitles (ENG-GER) and translation option (watch video)

Super video
Kako podesiti odnos jačine styla i desne ruke u live control. ? Hvala.
Koristite opciju Balance. Pod A stavite sva tri parta desne ruke , a pod B neka bude Style.
