I have so much respect for Jeanine for sharing her negative experience with alcohol. She is an intelligent and charismatic person and I wish she was on the big screen more.
We miss you Janeane! The fact that we don't see you as much explains what is so wrong with this world right now. Not enough same voices. Too many of the crazy voices today.

Janeane Garofalo, always honest, intelligent, & interesting as hell. I think she's refreshing and I've never understood how some people didn't understand her humour or way? Oh well, more Janeane goodness for the rest of us smitten ones? ;)
I just love Janeane. I like how direct and honest she speaks. I've met her 3 separate times in downtown Manhattan. She walks around as if she isn't famous. She's really intelligent. I cant believe she thinks her career started tanking in 2002. Maybe she stopped making the same amount of money she did in the 90's. I know that feeling of staying in bed for too long and negative mind chatter. I should read some of her books.
I can relate to everything she is saying. I am so glad I stopped drinking but I do miss it sometimes.
And I love her
Its all connecting now, seeing you in True Romance and Good Fellas. You might be the most versatile actor of our time. Janeane is a brilliant.

Two amazing people together. I absolutely adore all that is Kevin Corrigan and I've been a fan of Janeane Garofalo for years. I just started watching the Wet Hot American Summer series on Netflix and looked her up. It's such a candid open interview.
I need to see more Garofalo. Lets help America go through this tranistion by a big healthy dose of Garofalo humor ay kids???????? When i say kids, i mean people in their early 30's who worship you. We can't do this without you Garofalo.

Really good to see Janeane Garofalo. I've long wondered why she doesn't tweet. Seems like the ideal platform for her. It's like an intracardiac injection of adrenaline for everyone's career.
Re: Booze. I feel like William S. Burroughs might throw a penalty flag at me for proffering this, but a combination of Propranolol (prescribed for stage fright) and 5-HTP (over-the-counter serotonin booster/use in moderation) do a lot of heavy lifting if you're looking to hit the brakes on the hooch.

I have tried quitting drinking several times and the binary notion of yes or no is too restrictive.
It's easier to cut down than cut it out.
Teh goat That said, if you are a recovering alcoholic my method is not a green light for you to buy a bottle and drink half of it.
Stay clean and remember that temptation lasts for 20 minutes tops.
@JD Mac, I humbly disagree, I think, and I'm sure millions of people think this too, that she looks better than ever.

I agree completely. Even if Janeane wasn't as good looking as she is (and she is), her intelligence alone is powerfully attractive, at least to me.
i like this no idea y it has to be in black and white but whatever...
In some sense, I want to dislike her, because I disagree with her politically in every nuance. But she is vulnerable and honest and funny. So I put her in the box with my other ultra-liberal friends. Down deep, she seems like a nice person.
Janeane is (and always was) in the wrong time. She should've joined a convent (Carmelite nuns?) back in the 1730s.
