Thank You to Each and everyone of you Wonderful, Kind Beautiful People!!! You all have made this old dog want to learn all your canning tricks! Lol! I don't know what to can first! And I got a dehydrator yesterday, and later today I'm going to get me a canner and a boatload of jars! XOXO Much Love and Many Hugs to each one of you Gorgeous Ladies and our Handsome Gentlemen!!!❤🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Here is a useful tip, $ store carries that rubber shelf liner. I cut a chunk out of mine a couple of inches longer than the width of my hand "fingers spread out'' and about 4-5 inches deep now Double those measurements and fold over. This little chunk of liner is so useful and handy when handling those screaming hot jars. I throw it in the wash, hang it to dry. I keep one in the pressure canner and one in any pot I use for water bath canning. I get a good grip on the jars and I like the feeling that I have complete control of those hot jars, with out the bulk of towels or pot holders.
Thank you to all six of the channels!! I have really enjoyed watching these videos. Please keep the fun canning and cooking vids coming! it is making winter tolerable!! Love the look of this jam, beautiful!
This is such a SAD day.Your last day. I have been canning for over 35 years and it proves you Can teach an old dog a new trick. Great ideas from you ALL, THANK-YOU for all the time you have spent with us in the last 31 days teaching us so looking forward to the new ones hopefully not to far away Thanks again.
Sitting watching this I realised why I bought cranberries on sale and had granny Smith apples in the fridge and a can of pineapple in the pantry. So an hour later had seven 1/2 pint jars of winter jam in a water bath. Literally I scraped every last drop and what was left in the pan went on a piece of toast. I think if Heather tries this jam, Matt is going to have a new favourite .👍😍
Hi Leisa, Catching up on this last video! Wow!! You all did such a great job. This was an amazing series. Thanks so much!! And I love that you were the one to cap it all off!! Love this winter jam. Oh, that looks & sounds delicious ! Last week, I started pulling frozen berries out of my freezer. Our Blueberry Bushes produced so many beautiful berries last year & I had no time to do anything with them, other than freeze them. I ended up making Blueberry Jam & a Mixed Berry Jam from blueberries, mulberries, blackberries & strawberries. Now, I am going to have to make your recipe. I have added pineapple to my applesauce , but not to jam ! Here I go again ~ JAMMIN !!!
