Whenever I'm not feeling creative, I clean & reorg the studio. It helps to touch the supplies. And I always find something I forgot I had.

I call it ‘re-entry’ - usually start with cleaning up and rearranging my art space and then staring at whatever works I’ve left behind :0)

Lol that's usually the reason for my breaks - making a mess and taking a bit too long to get it organised again! 😂 I keep having to up my organisation game as I keep buying more stuff! I'm excited.. for my next reorganisation.. but also a little bit lazy.. craving painting now so hopefully over the weekend 😊

This might be my favorite podcast ever! Thank you for being so open hearted in sharing your inner process and making it approachable. So good!☺️

First of all, I LOVE your sweatshirt! It looks really good on you, and I adore the paint splatters! If you ever want to sell it, I'm interested. Seriously. Secondly, I'm feeling in a bit of a slump. I've lost my focus. I like the question: What makes me feel alive/light? What brings me excitement? Thanks!

I love this podcast! I went through this after Christmas and I've shared with friends as it's what we all go through at some point. Thankyou for talking about this- it's reassuring to know that the small tasks, like filling our paint bottles, are part of getting back into it. I've often felt like I should be creating as I'm pottering about and not doing much in the studio so this has made me feel a whole load better. Many thanks!

Very helpful, thank you! Helps me to not feel so alone in the struggle to get back to things. Isn’t it amazing, how quickly the flow evaporates! Play is the answer.

That is such a beautiful painting as is and I love it with that great big hit of watermelon which is your shirt! And I am so curious about what your Meyers Briggs profile might be. A web sight called 16 personalities has a good free test in case you are interested and don't already know your type. It would sure be fun to hear. Our personalities cause us to approach art and life so differently from one another.

Connection, Vulnerability, Self Care amd Sleep. Wow! That must be helpful to type out. How long have you done that and what is the need that is fulfilled by keeping this list? What platform is that spreadsheet looking list done on. Thanks for inspiring

Too busy , no feeling of onnese, too much happenin. It’s a no for me. To make abstract it’s not just a bunch of colours and forms. There is no any composition
