I can say that our family bought a used 1991 Duffy 18 classic in year 2012. We have enjoy this boat with family and countless friends 8 months a year here in NY on a lake. Our 30 year old is still a pleasure so solid and we still get many compliments on it.

Rented one today, was on a lake with medium wake. It felt like it was going to tip over, steering is crap my 2 hr rental turned into 20 minutes. This is good boat for smooth waters. If you like to sway left to right get it.
