- Prada Beauty is new to the makeup world with their new foundation, two lipsticks, a lip balm, and an eyeshadow quad with 6 different color ways. Today, I’m focusing on their highly rated (almost 5 stars at Sephora) Reveal Skin-Optimizing Soft Matte Foundation on my combination skin paired with their Monochrome Soft Matte Refillable lip stick. The lipstick formula is stunning, very soft and velvety. But the more I looked at my lips throughout the day, the more I didn’t like the shade on my lips. Something was off. But let’s review the new Prada Soft Matte foundation together.

The lipstick was dry looking when you first applied. Definitely need to check out the fenty powder though. I have super dry skin and don’t need to set much after I apply foundation and concealer.
It’s a beautiful foundation but I’m sorry I just can’t see how they justify that price!
It’s ridiculous. I can’t help but feel Milana is somewhat out of touch with her audience lately, the same as a lot of UA-camrs. 😔
@@mallymakings2853- I totally disagree.She agrees that the price is too high but does that mean she shouldn’t try it? There are many people who can easily afford expensive products ( that could be milana’s audience? ) , and there are many channels that only show cheap products… maybe you should switch to one of those channels. I think Milana is very fair to explore ALL price ranges of all new products.

Thank you for this video. I was considering purchasing this foundation but I saw how it worn on you. We have similar skin issues. Initially, the foundation looked flawless but with time, the oily areas shine through because it melts away.

Oof that lipstick when you first put it on is dry and patchy. That foundation so not worth the price tag.
I definitely prefer the Louboutin foundation better than this. I tried both and the Prada just ended up settling on my lines and emphasized lines and dips and holes and bumps I never knew I had.
I don’t know Milana, the lipstick is a no. It looked too dry and I’ve seen your complexion look way better in others. Nope
It’s a matte lipstick need to moisture your lips before wear it
I think the lipstick accentuated lots of lines on your lips as soon as you applied it. It got worse with each check in.
The foundation color was good but you have had cheaper brands that were just as good, too much money for it I think and the lipstick seemed a little drying
It’s the nose area for me that needs to stay on more especially with seasonal allergies, but haven’t found a foundation I like yet. Have you reviewed the TirTir Cushion Foundation?
Thank you for your honesty, as usual, Milana. NARS and Haus Labs aren't cheap, but they're not as expensive as Prada. For $70 (refillable or not), I want the Chanel/Armani experience this obviously does not give.
There’s way better drug store options. That foundation is NOT worth that money.

That foundation greased off super quick for me. Very painful purchase lol wish I had just not been influenced to buy it.
It’s not as costly as my sheisedo or cle de peau - cheaper for sure might have to try it!

Why does any foundation cost that much? Id never buy it i dont care how good it is or isnt. Its not worth it.

That is a crappy looking lipstick and not even worth $10, let alone 50!
I have to disagree on both. When you first applied the lipstick, my immediate reaction was gosh that looks crusty. Yes, Lovely colour but I thought it just made every line on your lips more visible. As for the foundation, nope. For that price it should be perfect. When you first applied it, imo, I thought it looked somewhat patchy below your lips on the left side. I’m not a fan on either tbh and if you think about it, the price of both would feed a family for a week. I’d feel too guilty spending such money on makeup. Nah, I’d rather spend the same money on a family day making memories rather than something I wash off at the end of the day.
