Jacket looks great! How is it for hot summer comfort. Got to try it yet? I'm experiencing 80-90 degrees already, and need a mesh jacket. Considering this and the Klim SE Induction jacket among others. I only saw Grey, but a picture of black. Is only Grey available?
The airwave 4 is available in 5 colors, I am not that familiar with the Induction SE as I have never tried one on before. As for the Airwave, it hasn't gotten over 85 here yet (at least not when I was out riding) so I can't say for sure, but based off of what I have experienced so far, it should do just fine in 80-90 degree weather.
@@AlterationProduction yeah good luck with that yikes! Well what helps is if you can wear a tshirt underneath and get it wet, then a mesh jacket turns it in to cold wet air, helps quite a bit.
Hate to disappoint but I have no experience with RS Taichi as a brand, never worked with them or tried on any of their gear., so I can't really give you an opinion.
Ohh okay. Thanks for your reply. I have a doubt about the protectors. Does the back protector change sizewise or is it modelwise? Is it like Airwave 4 takes an RV 06 back protector? If so can you let me know about the type of shoulder and elbow protectors it takes when I want to upgrade to level 2@@FifthNorth
@@KurianJohnMusic The back protector changes size-wise. The 03 is for the XS, the 04 is SM-MD, the 05 is LG-2XL, and the 06 is 3XL-6XL. REV'IT sells level 2 elbow and shoulder protectors on their website, pretty sure it fits all of their jackets.
Wanted to purchase a new jacket for the new riding season. I've had my eye on this one. Thanks for the in depth review.
No problem! Thanks for watching!

@@FifthNorthoof! It’s been 113-116 in Las Vegas but I think I’m gonna get one of these.

@@FifthNorth yeah! I will generally have an underwater in and if I go for fun rides I’ll were a compression undershirt fry gear type of cooling shirt.
Thanks for the review. Would like to know how it compares against the RS Taichi Kompass Air in your view.

The horizontal stitching between mesh panels looks kinda ugly...
Yeah I have heard that from a few people in person, seems like the opinion on the Airwave 4 redesign is fairly divided.
Whats the weight of this jacket with the back armour approximately?
Never weighed it so I couldn't tell you, but in wearing it it didn't feel at all heavy for a Moto jacket, definitely on the lighter side of the scale.
Hi what height are u? Just want to check for my size. 193 cm. Thanks
