I skated from 10 to 19. Stopped and stuck with my BMX until about 21 and haven't done anything extreme sport wise until now. My wife thinks i'm nuts for wanting to get back on one but this channel makes me want to skate again.

Did some inline skating but stopped but the other week after watching so many videos I thought why not start now! Just do it. 30 years old, don't look back and think I wish I tried it.

No man I wanna thank you, I used to skate from age 10 to 14 or 15 before I stopped. I loved it and was compleatly obsessed but my dad didn't support it and I had to keep it a secret. My dad was a principle and didn't want me to be a "skater thug" so I hid it from him with the help of my mom. I got pretty decent, enough to be one of the best kids in my school but when you only have 120 people in your grade that's not too hard to do lol. High school came around and at this point all of my friends didn't skate anymore. I lived in the middle of nowhere in east Texas and I couldn't really meet new kids to skate with so eventually I gave it up. Now im 23 and trying to get back into it. Everything is so much more difficult, all the muscle memory is gone but I'm having fun relearning. Thank you guys so much yall are the ones that inspired me to pick it back up and give it another try.

+1 on the comback crew 😂 32 years old, used to skate as a kid, never had a decent board and now finaly bought one a few days ago. I'm so glad to have bumped into this channel, it could've happened in spring or summer tho instead of in the middle of winter 😂 but it's fine. This way I'll work on my ballance and feel for the board before I can take it outside. I was really amazed that, just after seconds, it felt like I never stept of the board and I could just continue from where I was all these tears ago and thanks to your guys tutorials I was instantly even better at things I used to be able to do. Anyway, before this turns into a letter... thank all of you guys so much, you really are an amazing bunch of people. Big fan of each and every one 🤛 keep it up, cheers from the old continent 😉

This is such an amazing story you guys!
I watch Braille skate boarding all the time, to keep it real it hasn't been that long. I just recently started back skating about 4-5 months ago. That's when I found Braille videos. I went to you tube and was looking for some sick videos. I found Braille and feel in love with the vibes. Everyone has such great personalities and makes skating what I've always thought of it to be.
I had a skate shop for about 4 years when I was younger, my mom loved all of the skaters around town so much. She opened a shop for us. Unfortunate my brother had kidney failure so we had to slow down and help with that.
Now we are about to try and bring it back 4 years latter. I'm stoked and I love skateboarding. You guys keep doing what you do! I've heard of so many younger people who have seen your videos. They absolutely love you!!
They are the future to our skating so let's keep pushing them in the rite direction!
    Thank you Braille Army! 🤘🏾

Dude... I have a dvd a friend made from ripped skate shop dvds with you on it. I just realized it was you on there! Nice.
I don't follow skating anymore and only recently found Braille on youtube so I wondered why you looked familiar.

I’ve been watching Braille everything the past month or so, every day. Today I went and got a new deck and new trucks for a fresh start in the spring. I haven’t skated in years but I’m motivated and excited because of you guys.
I have a goal set too: land one of these three tricks:
    Tre flip
    Switch flip
Or a frontside flip (non flat ground)
I live in Canada and it’s winter right now so a lot of snow on the ground but I want to say thank you to Aaron and everyone on the braille team for getting me excited to skate again. Can’t wait for the spring!

Aaron you are a legend! When I was about 9 I started aggressive in-line, couple years later I started snowboarding and then naturally switched to skateboarding from inline when I was about 17. Then for a couple years I left pretty much everything except of snowboarding but kept skating from time to time (once a week -ish). Since I discovered you guys like a year ago I have bought a new deck and I am skating pretty much every day to and from the office and spending as much time as possible at the parking lot and getting my flips again, all thanks to your videos! And it feels super awesome! Big big ups for what you doing guys! BTW I am now 29 years old :)
What I kind of observed during the years is that the skateboard community is at times perceived as not really welcoming and may even seem hostile or "too cool" for newbies who want to start skating. This should definitely not be the impression people get from this awesome sport and you guys contribute to this a massive deal! The friendly and positive vibe coming out of your videos is just so good that after a couple videos literally anyone must feel the urge to start skating! Anyways, keep this up! Braille is in my opinion one of the best things ever happened to skateboarding! Greetings from Czech Republic!

Almost cried hearin this cuz I’ve been let down by supporters a lot on music stuff (my main thing). Been really stuck on depression for years and been stuck with everyday getting harder to get out of my room, but recently started skating and going outside and this shit means a lot cuz if I could skate I wouldn’t be suicidal anymore. I found something to do, and be worth. Tonight I snuck out to the college campus and made my first real attempts based on your ollie vids, fell a few times on parking lots with glass(?) but I’ve never wanted to see tomorrow as much as I do recently. Thank you thank you thank you Aaron. I usually hate writing cheesy long posts like this but this is the only place I’ll ever be able to tell you.
