They are plastic sheet made fr pla plating. You can find them at hobby shops or online (for example mine are from Dspiae, they have an online shop). You can choose the thickness, depending on your needs. The one I used are pretty thin, 0.3 millimiters.
Yes, you can apply dry brushing without a primer, but I would suggest sticking to inner frames and some detailed parts. It won’t give you a nice smooth finish on the armor parts

Another excellent tutorial. Nice touch using plaplates on the nubmarks! Something in the video tells me you are a big Ramones fan 😉
Thanks! Yeah, love the Ramones. A shame I can't use them in my videos. The copyright demon is always lurking.
@, I feel your pain…. I’m a huge fan of Blue Oyster Cult and restrictions apply to the use of their songs too….. Rock on and model on, my friend!

Pla plating... You you learn something new every time. Where do you get those?
You might be able to find it at hobby shops. One of mine sells them for around $10 or less depending on the size of the sheet.

What can you use to clean the RayStudio marker paint off of your dry brush/brushes?
You can use just alcohol. The Mr hobby color thinner also works pretty well too
Can i change the colour just with dry brushing without using primer first, i never done gunpla painting before.
