A lot of these sustained bans are really unfair. Especially the ones that were not due to bad intent or were a screw up on the moderation side. It's funny, but I actually feel bad for some of those banned people. :(
I got my comment deleted and timed out for 20 minutes by a mod the other day on a stream. The streamer was in a super long game, one that usually ends in about 30 minutes but this game took 70 minutes. It took so long because both teams were bad and didnt know how to finish. The streamer had been complaining about how bad her team was for 20 minutes. I agreed and said both teams are pretty bad because there is no reason a game should last that long. Mod came in, saw the message without context of the game and timed me out. I didnt get banned but they could just as easily have done that.
As sad as it is I do understand why Vedal is better off sticking to Neuro's final word; if he didn't, those who genuinely deserved it would just say he's using Neuro as an excuse to take heat off him *for his* decisions on it. Albeit he is trying to convince Neuro sometimes to change her mind

Man, I'm seeing the same issue in every *Unban Request video,* I watch. No matter who the Streamer is, it's always the same. The problem is that their Mod teams are EXTREMELY INCONSISTANT & quite a few of them are overly trigger happy.
There were a couple I thought were ruthless, but a lot of them are very deserved. Still getting all the mods on the same page is difficult, the rules are up to interpretation so people will have different opinions on where the line should be drawn.
I noticed some of these people were posting just really basic messages that were getting deleted like just saying based and then typed some off the wall stuff. A lot I totally get not unbanning but some just seemed really random.

Unban request streams always stress me out; when people that kinda sound innocent, or failed to read the room, or the situation is ambiguous etc, and they get permabanned for fun, I dunno, kinda worry me that individuals are treated as statistics just because of there's so many people and maybe that ban could have a mental scar on someone that didn't deserve or something.....
