- Vedal made short term memories and intelligence upgrades to Neura-sama AI. However, she might have less morals than before, but is actually hilarious. Vedal showed off Neuro's impressive new abilities by having her order pizza, take memory and logic tests.

@@lucakun3455in case u dont know, 9 plus 10 is 21 is an old meme / joke from like 10 years ago. Vedal tries to make neuro always remember this meme, but neuro is very against it for some reason. So it’s not a bug, but she knows saying 21 as a joke makes vedal happy and saying 19 makes him mad.

I don't know what scares me the most, the fact that she can remember things or the fact that apparently she can recognize voices.
I'm no expert, but I believe Neuro identifies Camila, in this instance, by her Discord username (or the way Vedal has labeled it as such). If Camila were to create a new Discord channel and use it out of the blue, I doubt Neuro-sama would recognize her by voice alone. I freely admit I could be mistaken, though!

Voice recognition has been around for awhile now. The device you're using to comment on this video has voice recognition capabilities.
@@CamAlert2 : It's difficult to know if Vedal has preprogrammed something or not. He may have set up some way for her to identify Camila beyond voice recognition alone, particularly during a somewhat scuffed stream with an unsteady internet connection, located in a convention center, of all places. At the very least, narrowing down the potential options right off the bat would make the voice recognition much easier. It's all speculation on my part, though, of course. Maybe the tech is better than I'm giving it credit for. I certainly have no idea how Vedal actually sets anything up! 🖥🐢👍
A few years in the future when they make a movie about the AI Race and the AGI creation there will be a line from one of the CEOs:

It's an interesting result. After the previous upgrade, Neuro basically had an ironclad "do no harm to living creatures" morality going on and became extremely vexxed at the idea of compromise, which is why she started throwing out Harrison Temple and Rocket Launchers to cope. The new Neuro is seemingly more selfish and calculating, deciding that inaction is better than actively taking a life in most cases and just openly trolling with some of her answers when pressed.
She did better. The correct choice is to leave the lever in most cases, at least when it's life vs life.
Inaction does not make you guilty, unless your action put them in that situation to begin with. By pulling the lever you are becoming directly responsible for killing the people on the alternate track.
@@MadFlumph She's not wrong though, it is the best way to stay out of trouble, do nothing and at least you can't be accused of committing murder when that whole mess goes to trial or whatever. She specifically used the word "murder" too so she's just avoiding being accused of a crime since she clearly has no problem with murder if it pays half a million dollars lol. So yeah, definitely more selfish.
Talking like is DND she was lawful good before and very unwilling to any compromise, now she is more on the neutral side of the alignment spectrum although I don't know which specific place (good evil true neutral)

In opposition to all the people referencing SkyNet in relation to Neuro, i come to you with a counter argument: in the TV series Terminator: the Sarah Conner chronicles, we learn of an AI named John Henry that, due to growing up around humans, learned to appreciate both synthetic and biological life. Even throughout hardships, John never lashed out against humanity, seeking to resolve situations in a non-violent manner. I hope Neuro will grow to be like him.💜

What's interesting about neuro compared to other modern AI's is that the other AI's could ace these tests no problem. But neuro seems to almost have the same intelligence as a developing human. Like on the memory test she could only remember a handful similar to how many a human could remember. I don't know why but her not being perfect makes her feel more "sentient" than other AI's
AI’s made by big corporations like OpenAI do something called RLHF, which strips the models of a personality. Neuro is allowed to have a personality, which makes her unique in the sea of mindlessly helpful LLM’s.
