Could’ve done well in the U.S. would have been cool if they worked with Missy Elliott and Jam&Lewis

The one mistake they made was not replacing Kelle, had they of done that things may have worked out differently, it never worked as a duo even though I love the 4th album, they needed a 3rd girl.

They did attempt to recruit a new member named TJ but it didn't work, so they remained as a duo.

@@supernovaleon2447 Yeah I remember that, they never really explained why, but I guess they didn't want a new member so late into their career after all that hard work, but I really think it would have benefited them.

I was told, she did not leave the group and the way she was informed she was no longer in the group, was Soooooo cruel! How true it is, I am not sure as I was not their. However I believe what I was told as it was just too detailed!

I loved Eternal, but just in this short 2 minute clip you can hear them talk about things that would be there undoing. They say Management were removed, and they took creative control, working with who they wanted to work with. Ultimately that 'control' led to them being dropped by their label and never getting picked up again. They songs they wrote just weren't strong. The songwriters and producers the had previously were solid. Also, when you removed Louise and Kelle, a slightly less girl next door, moodier duo didn't seem to click with record buyers 😭. Would love to see them come back as a 3 or 4 again though.

Not really their fault. Kelle wasn't even really in the group anymore way before she actually left.

I think lack of promotion had a lot to do with it. I didn't even know they were releasing the album - and it was actually released on my birthday.

Kelle never liked the sisters and didn’t want to be in the group… she was only there for money! She didn’t even contribute to the singing!

It's so easy to vilify Easther and Vernie based off what Kelle has said (even Louise to an extent but she mostly keeps it neutral) and with her basically dogging them in the public eye around this time and years after but honestly i feel kelle played up her victim role more than what it was. Kelle had basically one foot out the door by the third album anyways she had distanced herself entirely and didn't even record in the same studio with the sisters, she did her vocals separately. Plus who wants to continue to work with someone who flip flops one minute they're talkin' about how miserable they are and don't wanna be there and yet stays then next minute wants to leave again nobody has time for that. so who can blame them for just cutting their losses and just giving kelle her walking papers and yet goes on record to play dumb like she don't know what happened or why they kicked her out like girl come on take some accountability in the part you played in the situation.

I love Kelle but she really spoke too much about the bad time she had in the group. Should of kept it professional and kept it moving. We would have had more Eternal albums since 1999.

@@OmarHudson But so did Easther and Vernie tell the truth, but have consistently been called names by people based off of what only Kelle has said, with their side of the story completely ignored. I think that's really unfair on the sisters in a lot of ways and unlike Kelle they never got nasty or personal when discussing their side of the story. I just wished Kelle had been a bit more mindful of what she was saying at the time. More so I wished they got on better and communicated properly back then. It's a big shame all round for them and fans alike.
