I know I almost had to shoot my abusive drunk ex once. I called 911 in a panic. Telling them I had a gun… that if he broke into my room and came towards me I’d shoot him (he lived elsewhere) Even after he broke in and came towards me I shot up into the ceiling as a warning shot. Which did stop my ex at that time… my point is… a killer kills… a person using self defense try’s every other option before pulling that trigger.

Each attorney did their job and that’s why we are supposed to have an impartial jury. It’s all a facade. People usually already have their mind made up based on what one attorney may have said, what the defendant may or may not say, and sometimes have made their mind up once they hear the state’s opening and then when the defense does their opening they change it again. It’s just best never to put yourself in a place where humans are deciding your fate❤

Quaneesha making bold remarks to Demonte in front of police, wouldn't seemingly add up to a whole lot in depicting her as not scared of him (even with the cops being just moments away from leaving) being that her demeanor towards him at the time... couldve been her way of expressing to Demonte that he needs to take her seriously... that not only will she call the police on him, but she'll also willingly be secondarily harsh in doing so... such as press charges even. And you can't overly hold it against someone that is... to be spiteful after having to delay returning to their own home as long as Quaneesha did, and probably tiredly did so after an all nighter or what not. Also, in the event that Demonte happened to lie about being hit with a tire iron, it's a wonder if when he interacted or even personally approached Quanesha for the very last time... could he have seen that tire iron in her hand as an excuse to try to physically abuse her before heading out the door... thinking that since the police just got done hearing her speak negatively before she next brings a tire iron into the house... then if worst comes to worst, Demonte could just tell them police that she attacked him with a metal bar, leaving him with no other choice than to affirmatively defend himself in a physical manner.... Lastly, it's a wonder if there's any chance that is, of this seven year old daughter of hers somehow mishearing Quaneesha... that said, perhaps this daughter could've thought that she heard her mom say "tell the police he hit me" (while who knows how worked up a seven year old could've been at that time, especially if this was indeed a disfunctional household at times), but may've been told by Quaneesha "tell them that he's hit me" (as in a instance of which previoysly took place) or "tell them he'll hit me" (as in future tense if the police don't personally assist in Demonte's removal from the household).
