In fact you could replace ev800d's screen with a 5" HDMI display and add VRX. But 480p, as I didn't find a 1080p one for that size. Finally it will be more expensive than this.

Thanks. Screen quality is pretty good, but not as good as the OLED screens of course.
DJI v2 goggles are still the best priced option for getting into HD.

How does the viewing experience compare between the two goggles? I'd like to get the Recon but I want to know if I would be missing out a lot on the viewing experience by doing so.
Personally I prefer the more expensive goggles as they are lighter, more comfortable and have better screens. Having that said the Recon HD are pretty good for their price.

@@KremerFPV I got the Dominators and like them a lot. I noticed when I turn the fan switch to the left for higher fan power, I don't hear any change. Is yours like that too or did I get a faulty goggle?

The root level is the first on empty new card ?. My recon did nit record on a new 32G sd card but did on a used 4G card ..
If i putupgrades in it might ruin the whole thing ? Or is factory firmware permanent ?
Yes. Try formatting the sd card using the goggles.
Pps . It works a lot more now .
Mine goes to only 700mW .
When i change channels osd in the corner changes but the picture does not flicker or anything to suggest anything happened .
Higher power quickly said vtx 93° ( that is like 50°Celsius )
When i first powered up with the sd card upgrade it said " firmware nit matc . Skio / check " i skipoed without thinking . Maybe it will come back . Maybe the osd changes but not the vtx .
Oh to " format" sd card you have to go " settings ' > record set > format
The first time i did not know that so there was no walksnail fokder and the phone put the files in a big 7 file avatar box . And would not go back . Only files to sd card . No return so i went to download again but only one avatar ni skynet upgrade . So my second download was from Europe? 700mW ? Is yours 1200 mW ? Mine is the 1s maybe thats why .

@@gregorydahl After upgrading the firmware remember to reset the settings and then unlock the goggles (see the unlock instructions).
